ksmith9ParticipantRecently Anthony Davis told the media his goal was to be considered top 5 with no hesitation when he is done with the game.
For some reason it wont let me post the link, but it was in an ESPN article.
My question to you guys is could he and what would he have to do to get in this rare area. I feel the top 5-7 have already been etched With Jordan, AbdulJabar, Magic, Bird, Russell, Chamberlain, etc. Most of those guys came in the league tearing it up, and though Davis is no slouch he didn’t tear up the league as a rookie…he was just pretty good oozing with potential.
I can see Davis going down as a top 5 PF or maybe even top 10-15 all time, but it was be pretty difficult to crack the top 5.

trelos6ParticipantAll about the numbers.
He needs to finish with 1000+ career games.
22+ ppg average
12+ rpg average
3+ apg average
2+ bpg average
1+ spg average
1 x NBA Champion
1x NBA MVP
1x NBA scoring champ
3x NBA DPOY
All these are do-able (except maybe champion, it’s hard but he needs help!)
