yo, the all-star game voting is still biased and how players are being selected is still a flawed and contradictory  process used by too many fans, analysts and now coaches.

Boogie get the replacement nod over; lillard, dirk, ellis, Randolph, and howard and conley.

It has become an epidemic how voters view the hype of these young draft picks who put up great stats from their rookies year and even though they improve year to ear their tem is not in the playoff contention so for me that means they do not contribute to continual winning.

Another point I know many of you voted for davis to start, but did you ever think about him beyond stats? Aldridge based of the meaning of being the catalyst, is that for the blazers, a winning team with one of the top records in the nba. To me this means he should have gotten the start over Davis.:  I also know many of you wanted cousins to play in the asg, but how do you justify a guy on the team whose team is 4 slots away from the eighth spot, and over so many other players. Is his stats overall more impressive than the six guys I named. Yes they are, but when you are on a team that is constantly winning as those other six are sometimes you have highly efficient games throughout the season with lower stats than you usually finish games with that bring you averages down. This fact does not mean you are not an all-star.

People also annoy me by saying lillard is the blazers best player. The most offensively explosive, I can agree to, but come on Aldridge is the best player for them. Lillard explodes sporadically, but he is a volume shooter who has shot less than 40 percent so many times this season. To be fair he has to do this based on the blazers lack of depth, I am understanding to that. Still, Aldridge’s is averaging a double-double, a block and almost a steal a game. When lillard is having a great game its mostly him just shooting very well, and this creates opportunities sometimes throughout the game for teammates. When Aldridge has a great game the defense swarms him and there is always opportunities for teammates.

Also people come off melo for making the ASG. Obviously he should not have started, but still he made it, and I do not agree, but still if you are a person who felt in your heart cousins deserved to make it but not melo, you logic is contradictory. This goes out to all you. Melo’s team will not make the playoffs nor will cousins. does it really matter the record ?( also melo has missed 13 games I think) missing the playoffs by 7 games or by 17 is still missing the playoffs.
