 Don’t get me wrong. I don’t wanna see anyone get hurt in a meaningless game but this is basically just a glorified lay up line and 3 point contest. I’m pretty sure I could drop 10 points in this game with one good leg. It seems like back in the day it actually resembled an actual game somewhat and the players actually at least sort of competed. Highlights are great and all, but they are much more impressive to me at least when someone is trying to play defense.

The most annoying thing was the 3 point contest. Seriously at some point Jimmy Butler was under the basket and just kicked it out to the 3 pts line. WHY? This can be explained by the amount of injuries to the “highflying” superstars:Griffin,Davis,Howard,heck even Kobe,Wade,George,DeRozan. And all that added to the fact that at least 3 players were playng injured more or less,Butler,Durant,and Carmelo.

40% dunk contest.

17% All-Star game.

in all of major sports.   People actually complain when players don’t get in and players (outside of Shaq) want to play.  It’s more like a pick up game full of highlights, but every other year we get something special.  The issue this year is INJURIES, so a lot of the spectacular names were out of this game.   I might not agree with everything 4th quarter has to say but he has a point.  A lot of you wanted 4 of these guys in there when they’re more overall team than individual stars.   Now you’re crying over it and saying it was boring…   Chill out and look around, the NBA has the best All-Star in all of sports hands down.
