the I in winParticipantI think Luke Harangody will get on the 1st team instead of Damion James. He isn’t a good nba prospect but he dominates the college game.

knicksfan7ParticipantI have to agree on Harangody. Though besides that I think those are really really good 1st, 2nd, and 3rd teams that you made up.

Nicks139ParticipantI was going to put him in front of James but texas is doing alot better then Notre Dame and the reason why is cause of James and i think they will notice that once they pick the teams

DanEboyParticipantI think Cousins could be 1st team when all is said and done. Harangody is having another great year but I think Damion James is deserving over him.

TPost315ParticipantI can see Cousins getting it at the end, he’s doing really good, so i wouldn’t be surprise if he gets it at the end of the season. James is very deserving, the way I see it, is that lie Nick said he plays on a better team and still gets his own.

Nicks139Participanti agree with some of your choices t-post but lets be honest the number 1 overall pick wont be on 2nd team all-american. He will def be on the first team.

TPost315ParticipantWell, Nick you may be right, he most likely will be the top draft choice, and by stats Wall does have some better numbers, and they are close to.
Wall – 33 mins 17pts 3reb 7assist and around 4 turnovers
Collins 32mins 15pts 2 reb 4 assist and like 2 turnoversWall may be more impressive but i will take experience over talent in this case, i would put the ball in collins hand at the end of the game. And I think collins is slighty a better shotter even tho Wall has better numbers.

UKWildcat_11ParticipantI disagree with you there TPost. Wall has hit a game-winning shot (In his 1st game), free throws to tie the game in the closing seconds, quieting the crowd with go-ahead shots multiple times in MSG in the final minutes, and many, many times when his team was down, he turned on the jets and got his team back up again. Collins is great, but I’ll take Wall. MOST of the time

TPost315ParticipantI just like Collins more than wall at the point, wall is AWESOME, i’m not debating. But i just feel more comfortable with Collins, with his experience. The real two reasons why i don’t have him on my first team is that, like i said earlier, i will take experience over talent in this CASE, and his turnovers are a little to high for me.
Collins has faced the top talent in the big 12 and the nation. They won the Nat’l Champ, ik he didn’t play all that much but he has been there, and played and has learned. That’s just my POV!!!

lalailaParticipantCousins could be in the 1st team..
and I see no love for Aminu.0 - Posted on: Mon, 02/08/2010 - 8:38am #253879
quinceyhodgeswhy couldnt the number one pick be a second team all american?…its very possible. just like a highschooler being a number one pick over a college all american. every year guys who dont make first team allamerican are picked over guys who are on the 1st team. im pretty sure guys who werent even on first or second have been picked over player of the year players

llperezi think you guys are putting too much emphasis on the players pro stock and sleeping on a guy like landry fields from stanford. He is putting up 23 points and 9 rebounds a game and he is their best defender. He is the only reason stanford is competitive this season.
