cuseflynn10ParticipantLet me know what you think. It’ll probably change as the draft gets closer and we have rumors of teams making promises and prospects shutting down workouts.

MopgrassParticipantLooks like you copied and pasted Aran’s mock draft and moved everyone 2 or 3 spots. I’d say, trust your own instincts a little more.

cuseflynn10ParticipantI’d say there’s a general consensus of the range players are expected to go, so I don’t think being original and trusting your own instinct is necessarily the best idea. Most players usually go in the range they are expected with the exception of a handful. From last year’s draft McCullough, Looney, and Harrell may have slipped a bit on draft night depending on who you ask, but other than that I think everyone went where they were expected for the most part.
I haven’t seen too many people with a top 7 that doesn’t feature some combination of Simmons, Ingram, Bender, Hield, Murray, Dunn, and Brown. I threw Poeltl in the mix since I think he belongs there, though we’ll obviously just have to wait and see how things play out.
I definitely don’t see Diallo going in the lottery. Early 20s at best for him. Aran has Sabonis at 8 while I have him at 18, though I’d expect him to likely be between our 8-18 range. I have McCaw and Johnson at the end of the first whereas Aran has them early 20s. He has Bentil and Siakim in the first, I have them in the second.
The only picks we share in common outside Simmons/Ingram are Brown to Denver and Zizic to San Antonio. Denver just picked Mudiay, so picking Dunn at 7 would be redundant, so Brown makes more sense. And for the international guys, I only put a minimal effort into projecting who will go where since it’s so hard to tell without watching them regularly. Zizic seems to be ahead of Zubac and Yabusele in my book, and Aran doesn’t even have Zubac in his mock so who knows.
Other than that, I don’t think it’s an issue having guys within + or – five spots as other people are projecting.

ChoppyParticipantI would be ecstatic if Sabonis drops to 18. The "other site" has him going 18 as well so I hope you both know things I don’t.
