Lotto StudParticipantSuns acquire Reggie Bullock
Clippers acquire Austin Rivers
Celtics acquire Shavlik Randolph—————–
Just to take the shine away from Rivers for the moment. What does this move mean for Archie Goodwin, now that Bullock is on his way?

r377ParticipantI thought you were talking about this one:
———————-
report:
The Nets, Hornets and Thunder are discussing a three-way trade, sending Brook Lopez to Oklahoma City, Lance Stephenson to Brooklyn, and Jeremy Lamb and Jarrett Jack to Charlotte, according to ESPN’s Chris Broussard. Interesting. Lopez has a $16.7 million player option next season, which would give the Thunder little cap space for next season even with Kendrick Perkins coming off the books. Basically, OKC is going with the anti-James Harden logic and seem to be going for it this year. The Thunder could use some more front-court depth with Steven Adams losing some momentum from his hot start and Perkins playing like Perkins.

Lotto StudParticipantThe irony is that prior to the season I projected Lopez to be shipped to OKC but for Jackson in return.

220ParticipantI like this trade for OKC and the Hornets.
Brook Lopez’s salary and injury concerns are definitely worth the risk especially if all they have to give up is Jeremy Lamb (who they’ve already given up on).
The Hornets know their team can’t handle Lance’s presence so getting Jarrett Jack and Jeremy Lamb is a good haul particularly if Lamb’s game comes together for them.
I don’t know why the Nets would deal Lopez for Lance. Perhaps they believe they can get the best out of him and turn their squad around, but I have a hard time imagining that happening. If the Nets are tired of seeing DNP next to Lopez’s name I guess giving Lance a chance might be worthwhile. I thought since Provohrov wanted to sell the crazy trades would die down, but I guess not yet.

OhCanada-ParticipantOKC has to go for it. Durant will be a free agent soon and they have to prove they want to contend for a championship and are willing to surround him with the pieces needed for that run.

Taylor Gang MikeParticipantThe fact that they waived CDR and Jordan Farmar for Rivers goes to show how much Doc is looking out for his son. Austin better step up and play!!!

CynthiaParticipantI’ve been a fan of the Thunder since day one and it’s always pained me to see them with the atrocities they draft and put out on the floor that they call Centers. The day has FINALLY come that they not only get a low post scorer but one of the best low post scorers, and for Jeremy Lamb a guy that barely sees any playing time as it is. I couldn’t be any happier!!!
The downside is Brook is of course known to be injury prone, but I’ll take an All-Star injury prone Center over a guy that only gets garbage minutes any day of the week. I hope this is finally the move that moves the Thunder to be true contenders, they already were contenders but with injuries and no significant amount of scoring outside of Durant & Westbrook it would have been extremely hard to get that ‘chip. But now with Brook Lopez it will still be a challenge, but their chances of winning it all just got significantly better and no one can deny that.
I want to wish Jeremy Lamb good luck with the Hornets, I hope he gets a lot more playing time because he deserves it!
