knicksfreakParticipantTonight I’m putting myself out there and saying that the Knicks will upset the Cavs. The Cavs are coming off a loss and will be pumped but they will also be fatigued from playing back to back games. New York has a history of losing easy games and playing up to their competition. Lebron will put up amazing numbers but I think the Knicks will take the game thanks to big games by Gallo and Hughes.

gatorheelsParticipantknicksfreak- R U ok? Haha just playing man. No way the Knicks beat the Cavs tonight. I hope it is a close game but I see Cleveland winning fairly easily.

IndianaBasketballParticipantDouble nickel, 8 rebounds and 8 assists for LeBron tonight. Throw in 3 highlight reel blocks and 3 steals too.

The8thDeadlySinParticipantIt wouldnt be that huge of a surprise if they did because Shaq will be very out of his element trying to keep up with the game. They are still getting new players in the groove of playing with Lebron. What will Parker, Moon, and Shaq when they get to Watch Lebron go crazy.. Most players end up standing and watching, especially if they havent played with him long. Lebron has huge numbers, both teams end up watching him all night long.

quincey hodgesyeah but liek the article i just read..when you have a mismatch like that you also give up something..so while the knicks have the advantage with running they will give up alot too shaq in the half court game..pretty even trade..and banging wit shaq will cause a player not to be able to sprint up and down the court once the end of the 3rd quarter roles around..possibly foul trouble also

JNixonParticipantYea….it’s gonna be ugly…lol. Lebron might bust the scoreboard on them haha

MkadozaParticipantknicksfreak, I thought that the Knicks would play the Cavs close throughout and Lebron would go off for 44 pts, 7rebs, 11ast with at least two highlight real defensive plays. First Knick game I’m legitimately excited about. Go Knicks!
Edit1: Lebron’s of to a really hot start, knocking down some tough shots, but little to be seen from his teammates, because of a combination of lack of touches and lack of creation skills among the team.
Edit 2: I may want to ammend some of my prior guesses. I still think the Knicks will close the gap later in the game, but Lebron is unstoppable right now. Shoutout to the 09 MLB Champion Yankees, chillin with Jay-Z, you know how we do.
Edit 3: The Cavs have been absolutely crushing the Knicks… mainly because of the Knicks complete inability to finish. Lee, Gallinari, and Jordan Hill (Pleasant surprise!!) showing flashes. Hill showing why he was compared to Bosh, and hopefully starts getting some minutes. Gotta give the young player time to grow….. Wilson Chandler can’t shoot….. at all……

gatorheelsParticipantWhat were some of yall smoking thinking the Knicks were going to upset the Cavs LOL…I told you this would be an easy win for Cleveland.
The Knicks are a joke. I feel like I could score double digits against that defense.

JNixonParticipantThe New York Knicks SUCK defensively……..
0- Posted on: Fri, 11/06/2009 - 4:23pm #227383

knicks82Participantthere defense isnt great. But most of the shots they (Lebron) made were contested jump shots. The knicks offense is worse than there defense. Gallinari is by far the best shooter on the team. Everyone else is below average.

marcusfizer21ParticipantUnless they have a key defender who could guard LBJ, the Knicks don’t stand a chance… Well…. Its his lone visit to the Mecca and his gonna make the most out of it….
PS: To the one who made the sked of games, why did you pout this game early in November? Should’ve put it in December at least…LOL
0 - Posted on: Fri, 11/06/2009 - 4:39pm #227390

marcusfizer21ParticipantI wasn’t surprised at all on why the Cavs scored 40 in the first quarter… It seems like a Knick game trademark to have an opponent score at least 35 in the first period… See? No D… LBJ had 21 already and it’s going to get worse for the Knicks tonight…

NYK2010ParticipantFunny I was thinking the same thing but they have no answer for Shaq if the Cavs ever needed a basket inside. At least LeBron stole the show from Aroid, Jay-z and C.C. at ringside.
D’antoni needed to play Jordan Hill more tonight he had the perfect guys in Varajeo, Big Z who don’t need to be guarded much either.
Play him now at least in games where the Knicks are already down against top players which they have lil chance of winning. How’s he ever going to learn in practice they have only one big man thats Lee who he can learn from.
At least Hughes had a good game, Gallo needs to drive to the hoop esp. when he has old man Big Z on him.
