The8thDeadlySinParticipantWhat team has the best backcourt in terms of potential? They have to have at least 3 guards under the age of 26.
Celtics – Rajon Rondo, Lester Hudson, JR Giddens
Bobcats – DJ Augustin, Raymond Felton, Gerald Henderson
Nuggets – Ty Lawson, Arron Afflalo, JR Smith
Warriors – Stephen Curry, Monta Ellis, CJ Watson, Anthony Morrow

Bucks – Brandon Jennings, Jodie Meeks, Roko Ukic

Nets – Chris Douglas-Robers, Terrence Williams, Courtney Lee, Devin Harris
Hornets – Bobby Brown, Chris Paul, Darron Collison, Marcus Thornton
Knicks – Wilson Chandler, Toney Douglas, Nate Robinson

llperezkinda misleading because a lot of those guys aren’t gaurds. If you take durant out of the mix with okc, that changes things. And webter and batum who both play sf add a lot of depth to por if you consider them gaurds.
taking those guys out the equation, i would say the blazers, sixers and nets have the best potential backcourts. Of course getting a CP3 or DWill kinda overrides their lack of help around them.

QHaynes20I didn’t know Durant was a guard.
I like Portland and Milwaukee

The8thDeadlySinParticipantIf they were fulltime SF they werent included. All of these guys will see time at the SG or PG all year. Durant will play the SG and so will Webster and Batum. If they ever play G, they were included.

The Big ODurant shouldn’t be in the backcourt
Brandon Roy and Fernandez/Bayless????0 - Posted on: Sun, 11/01/2009 - 10:57am #225775
The Big OHonestly curious, is this a fantasy basketball question >:(

llperezwell, if anybody whoever plays any minutes at gaurd is included, then we could add a lot of players on this list. And I don’t see Durant, webster or Batum playing much gaurd. In fact, I don’t think Batum or webster played any gaurd this year or last year. And while durant might play some, he is doesn’t play much there. You might as well add Lebron to the gaurd mix as well.

The8thDeadlySinParticipantNo. This isnt a fantasy question. Last year, Durant even started at the SG some. He is a G/F type of player just like Batum and Webster.

The8thDeadlySinParticipantLebron is over 25 years old. He does play guard. IMO, this is off topic, but the Cavs should just start Lebron at PG get a big SG and SF and just have a huge lineup. All the Sg and SF need to do is be able to shoot and defend. If they were huge, how could they be guarded?

llperezlebron is 24

The Big Othat’s would put more mismatches on the floor; but don’t tell Danny Ferry that!
they drafted Eyenga but Dajuan Summers even Derrick Brown were available…all projects on the wing
but huge mismatch ability would have come from Summers/Brown selection
and Sam Young was available to contribute (off the bench/start)o well I guess they were drafting for potential in case Lebron leaves 🙁

The8thDeadlySinParticipantHmmmm.. Good call. My bad.
Even with that, they dont have 3 guards under 25.

festar35ParticipantI will take the Thunder but Durant shouldn’t be there. Westbrook is carving up and Harden looks like he could be a very good player.

quincey hodgesi have to say the thunder easily..durant and roy cancel each other that.west brook will be better then webster or rudy and it wont be that close since i see westbrook as a future allstar..i dont see either webster or rudy as a all star just pretty good players..harden i think will be a good player also..i dont include bayless because he hasnt shown anything int he regular season to qualify in this discussion …livingston is ok too
