I expected him to do well, but not this well. This is amazing for a 19 year old rookie.

maybe because i played overseas but hes doing exactly what i thought he would..its much harder over there then people think and the things you learn over there helps so much when you start to play the american game and you already have a american game..thats one reason kobe was good because he had learned the euro game as well as learning the american game..over there they teach you how to be a team player and the fundamentals as well whats a good shot. they also teach you how to score without relying on youre athletic ability

Jenning is the truth and I knew he would be good but i am surprised at his early success though because i guess he really was not able to show his game overseas.

booo…naw I’ma quit hating, I guess he does have good fundamentals. I still gotta criticize on the turnovers though.

I said that Jennings will shoot a poor percentage his rookie season and u agreed and said that Rose, Stockton, and Nash also shot a bad percentage
note Rose shot 47% and u can see in his game he is a phenomenal slasher that converts a lot of acrobatic layups
note Chris Paul averaged 2.3 turnovers per game and shot .475 u lied on your other post quincey
note Steve Nash shot a bad percentage and was a backup to J-Kidd his freshman campaign, 40% from 3 tho
note John Stockton was a backup his rookie season and averaged 17 minutess and shot 47% from the field u lied u lied on your other post quincey

even though Jennings did good in this game, I still can see that his one CONSISTENT weaknesses: body strength
I expect big guards like Stuckey to abuse him in transition and the post lol

Jennings showed hes a gamechanger with speed and did well tonight but u still LIED

..anyway not gonna get into this..my point was proven..and stucky doesnt have a post game and detroit doesnt set post plays for him..just like tj ford his size wont hurt him cuz you dont have to be big to be a good or great pg(you tell em stockton,paul)..and hes gonna get bigger and stronger naturally since he only just turned 20 SSTOP THE HATING HATER..LOL…..the thing about overseas shwlton i that its more of a team game and they teach you to be a team player as well as working on fundamentals..shot selection. when i came back from player in germany i found out how much better i was and how much i learned when i played against some of my boys who were still in college or who played in the cba..stats arent important to teams over there so for the most part you dont see guys blazing it up over there with 30ppg or close….brandons 7ppg and 3 or 4 ast would equal about 14-17 ppg 8-9 ast….my point of him being a pg and not a sg( i still cant believe you said hes a undersized sg) has been proven..you can try to make youre self feel better after being wrong by saying i lied or point out whatever negitives you may have ..but in the end jennings game spoke for it self like me and just about everyone on here said..

the western conference is a beast, the east is not

once he starts having somebody other that louis williams gaurding him he will have a little trouble.. still i think he could easily be the ROY… especially if griffin is injured for more than this..

he should be fine..if yall watched the game you could see that iggy tried to guard him some and had trouble..not too many pg are gonna be as good as iggy plus how many pg in the east are really good defenders?…rondo…everyone else is average to below average..and none are shut down defenders

thats cool since the hawks are no threat to get past the second round(unlike my lakers the defending champs)..anyway how did the bucks get into the discussion?(the only reason you even mentioned the bucks was because jennings played well you had to to find something to hate on to save face)…the disscussion is brandon jennings as a player..and i recall when the hawks were in the exact same position rebuilding with a very bad team..and they still arent a title contender..there stuck in the middle..not good enough to get a good lotto pick and not good enough to be even in the eastern conference title game…so basically the hawks are in the same place as we are becaue you dont get a trophey for making the playoffs or getting to the second round and you dont get one for not making the playoffs…it just like the highlander…THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE.(actually 2 teams in the championship..everyone else just watches)..so although the bucks wont make it im sure they will save a seat for youre hawks to watch the rest of the playoffs once ya’ll are eliminated

Hawks are gonna do nice in free agency. even if they did hit the lottery the lottery is filled with players that will get DOMINATED by Lebron/Wade/Kobe for years to come

the bucks are not a threat, in the East especially in free agency
Jennings knows if he puts up good numbers he can bolt right away just like Lew Alcindor did back in the day

hawks got a lot of money coming off the books to sign somebody big and they got more youth than the Lakers. Wonder why Kobe and Lebron declined those extensions to go to the Bucks? the Knicks?
the Nets are looking nice but you never know?

Kobe in the West is gonna have to claw and scrape against teams like the Blazers cuz u don’t want Kobe guarding Roy all game, Artest? then Kobe will have to guard Travis Outlaw

I’d gladly accept Kobe on the Hawks (hope Kobe gets this message)
I’d be happy with Lebron or Kobe on the Hawks

Sincerely, Oscar Robertson aka The Big O
