MagikKnickParticipantpg: Devin Harris
SG: I dont care what anybody says…i like Wade
SF: this one might be contraversial…but im gonna say a tie between Melo/Durant
PF: Dirk
C: i dont know….im trying not to make this list “over versatile”so i’ll say Shaq? (i consider Jefferson a PF)Yours? and try to make this list least versatile as possible meaning…if someone plays 90% of there time at SG, but plays some SF then try not to considers them for SF…if that made any sense…

purpleFROGParticipantPG- Arenas
SG- Kobe
SF- LeBron
PF- Dirk
C- Yeah this is a hard one, I will go with Tim Duncan, he can score in a lot of ways0 - Posted on: Sun, 10/25/2009 - 11:18am #223729

lalailaParticipantPG Chris Paul!! Man avg 11apg and still score 23ppg he is beast
SG Kobe hands down, IMO best scorer in the league, no matter what type of numbers he will have next to BYnum,Pau,Ron
SF I like to say Melo but LeBron is the best IMO he is not so “scorer” but he is so good that he can score 30 easily, when there comes playoffs he almost in every game scores 35+
PF Nowitzki, but when healthy Amare is close
C Big Al he might isn’t typical C but 6’9 260 is c’s size and he plays C now so why he is PF? as for scoring, he is so good, and still 24yrs old, he could be 25ppg scorer, and I see BYnum close enough0 - Posted on: Sun, 10/25/2009 - 11:48am #223734

Bryant24ParticipantPG: Gilbert Arenas when healthy but if he not healthy i say devin Harris
SG: Kobe Bryant easy one best scorer in the league his scoring went down in the past seasons but he still can go for 50.
Sf: Lebron is good but he can shoot consistently so im rollin with the young buck kevin durant
PF: an underrated player name Dirk Nowitzki.
C: Al jefferson dwight needs post move he just score based on his power.Honorable mention: Dwayne wade a great player but i say kobe still is a notch above him.
kevin martin is a good scorer not great he just can shoot really good.
Carmelo Anthony can flat out score but i still dont think he has reach his potential in scoring.

justin22443ParticipantPG: Gilbert Arenas (he probably won’t score as much this year because he wants to become a better playmaker for his team, but if he wanted to he could get 30 a night easily)
SG: Kobe Bryant
SF: Kevin Durant
PF: Dirk Nowitzki
C: Yao IMO is a better scorer than Shaq now, but of course he won’t be scoring at all this season0 - Posted on: Sun, 10/25/2009 - 1:14pm #223741
arc1212Participantare you kidding me? shaq as the best scoring center…c’mon his skillset is booboo
all he does is move people….no disrespect a great players but definitely not the best scorer at his position0 - Posted on: Sun, 10/25/2009 - 2:12pm #223745
quincey hodgesi see what u saying but it doesnt matter how u score weather its skil set or jut moving people out the way..granger scores in more ways then lebron but i still say lebron is the better scorer

doubledribblerParticipantPG: Parker…If he was in a different system and not playing with so many older players, his scoring numbers would be crazy. He’s way more efficient than Arenas and does everything Harris does, but better.
SG:Wade…not sure if there is anyone harder to stop from getting to the basket and converting. The closest thing to MJ since MJ.
SF: Carmelo…Range out to the three point line, deadly mid range game and one of the best low post scorers in the league.
PF: Dirk…the guy can score all day long from any spot on the court.
C: Like everyone else the position is thin, but if Gasol gets counted as a center then I would put him here. Offensively the guy is complete, finishes well with both hands and has some range. I don’t like listing any of the centers here though after just putting down scoers like Carmelo, Wade, Parker and Dirk. He’s a nice scorer, but he’s not in their league as far as ability to take over a game offensively, though he did some work on Dwight in the playoffs and he was the Defensive Player of the Year. I can’t put down Shaq, besides he’s really not much of a scorer. Someone has to set him up to score and it seems like if he doesn’t have really deep position then he’s probably going to miss. Anything 5 feet away from the basket or more and he’s useless offensively.0 - Posted on: Sun, 10/25/2009 - 3:00pm #223753

The8thDeadlySinParticipantPG: Deron Williams. Can do it all. Gets to the rim, shoots the mid range and the three.
SG: Dwayne Wade. Lead everyone in the NBA last year.
SF: Carmelo Anthony. Can score in more ways than anyone in the league.
PF: Dirk Nowhatthefuckever. Most versitle PF as far as scoring goes
C: Pau Gasol. Can shoot the midrange and gets to the basket and also has great post moves.0 - Posted on: Sun, 10/25/2009 - 8:19pm #223797
youngmagParticipantPg.Healthy Gilbert if not Devin Harris
Sg.Wade/Kobe they’ve tooken over crazy games this year so I can’t call it
Sf.Durant
Pf.Dirk hands down
C.Idk if we still count him as a center but Bosh..the man gets buckets.0 - Posted on: Sun, 10/25/2009 - 10:49pm #223812

llperezpg- Arenas. If healthy he can score 25 a game and drop 50 on any given night.
sg-Kobe. Best scorer in the game period. If he and Wade changed teams, Wade would probably avg 24 with the lakers and Kobe would get 34 for the heat.
sf-Lebron. Like someone else said, I don’t care how you get them, he get’s them as well as any sf in the game.
pf-Dirk, but Amare is very close.
c-tough, I don’t really consider Jefferson a center. Shaq is past it. Yao if he’s healthy. Duncan I guess although Bynum and Brook are gaining in this category.

doubledribblerParticipantIf Kobe and Wade changed teams, the Lakers would have beat the Celtics a couple of years ago. Kobe would get destroyed if he had to carry a team that bad. The team has had no one to even remotely take the attention off of Wade. If they switched teams Kobe would ask for a trade like he did when he wanted to go to the Bulls. Right now Kobe not only has tons of weapons around him, but he plays with guys that have it drilled into them to pass the ball to him every time like Walton and then you have two of the best passing bigs in the league in Gasol and Odom to help get you the ball. Anyone remember how great Webber and Vlade’s passing made Bibby, Stojakavic and some of the others look?
0- Posted on: Mon, 10/26/2009 - 7:39am #223868
whiteflashParticipantDoubledribbler, you have absolutely no idea of what you’re talking about. Kobe Bryant put up 35 a game and carried his team to the playoffs, and that same year he had 81 and 62 in 34 minutes against Dallas and he sat out the entire 4th quarter. If he had played the 4th he woulda had 90+. Someone else said we’re watching the best scorer we’ll see in our lifetimes in Kobe. I’ll take it a step further and say we’re watching the greatest scorer in NBA history, and the people that don’t appreciate him we’ll have their eyes opened when he’s gone. Who had the league high last year? Exactly, and if he feels like it he’ll do it again this year. He’s clearly focusing on conservation and teamwork, but please beleieve if he felt like it he’d lead the league in scoring until he retired.

llperezdoubledribbler, my opinion of their scoring has nothing to do with team success. Kobe averaged 35.5 when he had similar talent to what Wade has now. What does anything you wrote have to do with who the better scorer is?
0 - Posted on: Mon, 10/26/2009 - 3:36am #223833
joecheck88Participanthow many times has he dropped 81? how many times has he averaged 35 ppg in a season? i mean you guys are watching probably the best scorer you may ever see in your life in kobe. this guy has had a 9 game streak of 40 plus points and 19 in that same year. dwayne wade has 24 total games with 40 points or more

The Big Opg- Wade. pure/versatile scorer role, think the US olympics (all dunks no need to take a jumper on this stacked team)
sg-Kobe. He can camp out all day on the perimeter
sf- Carmelo, more SG whereas Lebron is more PF
pf- Dirk he’s more of a SG than any other PF.
c- Yao Ming- 7’6 and coordinated he just pitches the ball in sometimes, seriously it’s borderline ridiculous (and annoying)0 - Posted on: Mon, 10/26/2009 - 7:32am #223865
whiteflashParticipantThere can be debates on every position except shooting guard. Kobe Bryant is the best scorer in NBA history, and it’s not even close. When he averages less than 30 that’s bacause he chooses to, not ’cause he can’t. And if any of ya’ll have doubts youtube him. Phil Jackson, Brian Shaw, other players, they all say the same thing and Jackson goes on to say that Kobe has more skill than Jordan. If anyone has a place to make that claim it’s Phil Jackson.

The Big OKobe- never met a shot he couldn’t hit do not leave him open, with that said he doesn’t have the HANDS jordan had, scores off of perimeter isos and OCCASIONALLY in the post (fadeaways included)
best finesse player ever if he had bigger hands he says he would try to dunk everything like Dr. J
deadliest and STREAK shooter ever scary bcuz he is a consistent threat bcuz he can hit ill-advised shots
45% shooterJordan- palmed the ball in midair like Dr. J” on his drives and on his crossover (illegal but cool- think Dwyane Wade) and on his fadeaway, did his damage from the post and in transition and off screens by leading the league in steals
most EFFICIENT player ever scary, bcuz he RARELY took ill-advised shots bcuz it was so easy to get off a GOOD shot50% shooter
