I have the spurs and denver pretty high, so who wold you move them past? I could see moving the spurs ahead of Cavs, but i have hard time putting them ahead of the top 3.

The heat took advatange of the east being down last year and they didn’t do anything to improve their roster. Chalmers should not be starting and I don’t see Beasley having a huge impact. Oneal is never healthy and has not been the same even when healthy for years now. Wade can’t possibly do more then he did last year and that equaled 43 wins. The east has gotten better around the heat.

As for charlotte, it looks like they lost bell for awhile, and Chandler is never healthy. Wallace is their best player and I don’t see him leading them to playoff contention.

as for washington, Arenas looks like he is back to full strength which makes him arguably the best pg in the east. Butler and Jamison are both gonna get their points. Those 3 alone can flat out outscore some teams. Throw in the additions of MIke MIller and Foye who should both help take a lot of pressure off the big 3. Young, Stevenson, Haywood, Mcgee, Blatche and Oberto can all help and provide improvement from last season. I’m telling you, teams are gonna have to bring their A game to beat the wiz this year. they are very tough.

I can’t move the hawks any higher. Bibby is not a top pg anymore and Teague is a rookie who will take time to grow. On the low post, you still have Zaza and Horford battling alone with little help. Marvin and Josh might play some pf, but they are perimter oriented players. Crawford will help, but he is a gunner which the hawks already have plenty of. Besides, 11th in the league is not exactly a slap in the face.

alchemist, yeah there are some questions. I’m higher then most on them. Arenas looked real good when i saw him this pre-season. The only real concern is interior defense. Haywood was out last year and Oberto will help, but if the interior defense can be even solid, then the offense should be one of the best in the league. Also, Miller looked great when i saw him, he provides a shooter to help clear space for caron and others to work.

what do mean pistons man? Remeber the wizards were advancing in the playoffs before last season and have more talent now. And are you saying that how guys look in the preseason has zero matter on the regular season? I mean, it’s not like Miller, Foye, Arenas, Butler, and Jamison are rookies or unproven in this league. Now if I said Blatche or mcgee or young were gonna be tearing it up, then you could say I’m basing too much on the pre seaosn. BUt those are just bench players. Who behind the wiz are better in your mind?

I could see the jazz ahead of them, it was close between those two. But the jazz also have qestions about interior defense with Boozer and okur. Also, I don’t see millsap playing to his potential until Boozer is gone. Losing Cj MIles really hurts because he was gonna start. Brewer is a great athlete/defender but he can’t shoot. Korver can shoot, but can’t defend or slash. Miles was gonna bring both to the table, and now he’s out. I could see the jazz being ahead of washington, i have them 9th and 10th so it is very close. But I think Washington will put it together before the end of the season and have enough weapons to challenge anyone in a 7 game series.
