bobbygiller"Point guard Kyrie Irving verbally committed to Duke on Thursday on ESPNU’s "Recruiting Insider" program.
Irving chose the Blue Devils over Texas A&M and Kentucky. He joins ESPNU 100 forward Josh Hairston (Rockville, Md./Montrose Christian) and point guard Tyler Thornton (Washington, D.C./Gonzaga College Prep) in the Coach K’s 2010 class."

Lemons4LifeParticipantI cannot wait for him. I think it’s Duke, Kentucky, or Iowa State.

OrangeJuiceJonesParticipantThis is kinda sucky. It would be nice to see more top prospects go to slightly smaller programs like Texas A&M. It would even the playing fields a little bit.

atchodasParticipantI don’t think Barnes is considering Kentucky, the last time i saw his list, it was duke, unc and kansas at the top of it…

pistonsmanParticipantKyrie Irving should of picked Kentucky or Texas A&M, almost every big name player goes to a big college. WHY!!!! It’s not going to help you at all, I think it’s going to hurt you. Because if your big named school your going up against little named schools. (Except NCAA Tourney) but your never probably going to get a defense you can’t score on if you go to a big named school. If he was to go to Texas A&M he probably would get more experience.
