Michael.S.ParticipantUmmm a yeah he most definitely is underrated and has been all his career, and i say this again and again and again every time I talk about McGrady, is it his fault he is always injured or he has had a bunch of bench nibblers on his squad his whole career?You guys need to give the man a break, basketball is a team game, 1 man can’t do it by himself, I would bet my life that if you put Kobe, MJ or anyone you’d like on his Orlando team they would still suck and get nowhere, On the Rocket’s where Yao is always a problem injury wise or they’re injured they would do no better than McGrady has, If you watched this guy at his best you would know how elite and rare he was, Kobe or M.J were on the squads that McGrady had in Orl. when he won those scoring titles putting up crazy #’s all they would do is score toooo, they would have to or they would suck.

FastAndFuriousParticipantMcGrady has never been underrated, he is one of my favorite players of all time, but he was never underrated McGrady when he was doing his thang in Orlando and beggining of Houston he def was mentioned up there with the likes of Kobe,Vince Carter,Jason Kidd ETC……Injuries and A bad attitude have derailed Mac from becoming what he’s supposed to.

getacombi don’t see how a man can be considered underrated when he makes 20mil a year and was the face of a franchise for a good number of years (orlando). Yes he has been hurt a ton and has been overlooked recently but we’ll see what he has instore of us this upcoming year.

JoeWolf1Last I heard he was slated back for the middle to end of November. I guess he is in good shape, I don’t doubt he is still a very good scorer and player. I doubt whether he will be able to play more than 50 or 60 games.

naw I hope McGrady does good and has one last run in him
he’s older than a couple other free agents but look at the Celtics he just has to be a piece to the puzzlealign himself with the Celtics or Lebron he can’t be doing it all anymore I hope he gets traded to a contender mid-season

Bryant24ParticipantT-mac was always one of my favorite players he isnt underrated he just dont have help during playoff time his scoring and assists go up he just dont have any help so people need to stop criticing him on that a healthy t-mac is an elite player and a top 10 player.
