That play above (the block) was one of the top 3 plays I saw last year. That was ridiculously freakish.

i though shannon brown was going to be real good when he was in hs. He almost beat out lebron in the HS dunk contest and had arguably the 2 best dunks in that contest with a wicked one handed tomahawk windmill and a super 360. He was supposed to have a nice jumper and everything coming out.. Why is he not as good as I thought he would be?

He has never been a great ball-handler, that’s what I see. He wasn’t in college at all, but he has improved his handle alot in the NBA especially since joining the Lakers, to the point were he can make a nice move and then just slash to the rim. He also wasn’t much of a passer in the NBA and for every team he played for.And the triangle offense is masking his weaknesses, so he’s becoming very effective now..

i agree i think they should ship Farmar for a backup center because their weak there and we know Bynom cant stay healthy and develop Brown as their point guard. also i think Calathes can be a good point guard in the future too i think Farmars a good player but he needs to go to another team.

I sure hope he gets really good this season for Lakers. I remember that Michigan State team a few years ago with Ager, Brown, Davis. They were good.

the lakers don’t need a backup center. Bynum, Gasol, and Odom are the 3 bigs who rotate the 4 and 5 spots. Whenever Bynum sits, Gasol is the center and Odom is the pf. All 3 of those guys are capable of playing 35 minutes. Josh Powell is the 4th big and he does a decent job doing the little things. And I think Farmar is the best pg the lakers have and trading him would be unwise. Brown excels with the lakers because he is able to just knock down shots, defend, slash. Farmar is the guy who is capable of actually creating offense off the dribble for himself or teammates and break down the defenses.

i wouldnt go so far as to say bynum cant stay healthy because of 2 injuries none of which were the type where u just run and get hurt..theres a long list of nba players who have had 2 injuries early in there career and ended up with great careers
