Reports out of Cleveland are that James and Edwards, the star wide receiver of the Cleveland Browns and third pick of the 2004 NFL Draft, are beefing. After arguing with and punching one of James’ childhood friends in the face at a local night club, James called Edwards “childish” and “jealous”.

James said “I’ve never crossed paths with Braylon before, but it seems like there’s a little jealousy going on with Braylon and me and my friends. I have no idea why. I’ve never said anything to Braylon at all. But for him to do that is very childish. My friend is 130 pounds. Seriously. It’s like hitting one of my kids. It doesn’t make sense.”

It sounds like James is telling Edwards to try picking on him lol.

    hmmmm…………
don’t watch much football, but I know well enough if your a star player on any team, no a player on any professional team, you should act like it

A star wide-reciever in a night club? That isn’t the best place for him to be off the bat, then you punch/fight a regular person in the face that is probably 100+ lbs lighter than you? grow up

He was actually fighting and throwing punches at one of his own teammates (a defensive lineman) before punching LeBron’s friend in the face.

i will wait till i hear Braylon’s side before I pass judgement. The man assaulted just said that Braylon was jealous of Lebron and didn’t give any ohther real reason for the fight besides that. That sounds kinda fishy.

Yeah…I read this, first…he’s partying after a game in which they lost? How could you be content enough to do that…I mean unless he was trying to shake off the loss by drinking it up and even then starting a fight? This dude was like 5’6-5’8 130lbs? and Braylon 6’3-6’4 weighing 200lbs+ is picking on him? C’mon. LeBron may have not shook hands, but at least he isn’t throwing any either. This dude is going downhill fast from being a Pro Bowler. Also, this past game was the first time he didnt’ have a Catch in over 62 Games I believe. He looks at fault…especially since the dude lets him in free to almost everything and if he is indeed jealous of LeBron then wow…One more thing, he did talk trash too saying to LeBron’s Friend, “Without LeBron you’d be nothing” blah blah blah.

I know nothing about Braylon, but let’s wait and see what his side of the story is. I’m not gonna hold going out to a club against him because everyone does that. If the little guy is somehow responsible for starting the fight, then it doesn’t matter how much he weighed. If you are a guy and you run your mouth, then you better be ready to get hit. As for the lebron jealousy thing, that just sounds suspicious. Why would he approach someone for no other reason then he is jealous of Lebron James and hit them? That sounds like the spin the victim might have just created. I’m not defending Braylon, but let’s wait and see the whole story, because “he beat me up because I’m lebrons friend” doesn’t really add up to me.

Braylon Edwards is known to be a bit immature..I wouldn’t put it past him to do something like this.
