JNixonParticipantAaron Brooks. They need offense more than D.

IndianaBasketballParticipantLowry is a pitbull lol, but Brooks should start. I think they’re a perfect change of pace.

McWinningParticipantLowry is a backup Brook proved himself hes a great scorer which they lack.

doubledribblerParticipantThey need the scoring more than anything, especially with no Yao and who knows how long with no McGrady. I like both guards better as backups though, but I think Brooks is going to be the fearless leader they need because they still have the goal to make the playoffs.

RUDEBOYwhy is this an issue? BROOKS PROVE HIMSELF doing the playoffs that he is the ROCKETS POINT GUARD…LOWRY is a backup… a pitbull on defense..HE was giving the starting job at MEMPHIS BUT HE didn’t show he has a complete game…both offensive & defensively..plus he doesn’t have an outside shot…..Thats why they traded him to HOUSTON..

llperezBrooks was probably the rockets best player in that second round against the Lakers. I think he could be the team’s mvp next year if TMac doesn’t get back to full health.

sheltwon3ParticipantPeople forget how good Lowry is. Lowry is probably a better balanced point guard than Aaron
Brooks but Brooks is quicker and is more of a nightmare match up though.0 - Posted on: Thu, 10/01/2009 - 11:26am #218194

JNixonParticipantLowry is a better natural PG and defender, but he cant shoot at all. Brooks can score very well and he’s a decent enough passer. They need scoring much more, Lowry is a backup PG who changes the pace with full-court pressure on D. It works out perfect.
