McWinningParticipantdude if Bulger is better than Leftwich why do you need a quarterback? Leftwich is one of the top qbs in the leagues so far.

Jack WoganParticipant“The media was not as big a deal for me when I was in Cleveland because they didn’t cover, or they weren’t as interested in the other guys like they are here from 1-15. You could be the 14th player on the team, and if there’s a small thing going on, on the court or off the court, it can turn into a media frenzy. So that was an adjustment that I had to make. Just understanding that, feeling that, accepting it, dealing with it throughout the course of the year.”

koyozoyoosaParticipantThere’s no question that Thabeet has talent, the only question is whether or not someone can draw it out and maximize it. It’s a tall order, to be sure, much taller than Thabeet’s 7’3″ frame. Developing players like Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, James Harden and Serge Ibaka was more about channeling energy than learning to motivate.

koyozoyoosaParticipant“Definitely this is a great opportunity for me,” Thabeet told The Oklahoman recently. “Every situation in the past doesn’t really matter. The present is what I’ve got to face. I’ve got to deal with what I can control, come in and work hard and just be a part of the team. … It’s another situation, so I’ve got to come in with a different mentality and be ready to work hard.”e4213212

DWAGAAEEEAParticipantNo one else in Toronto is talking about an All-Star appearance for DeRozan this year, but he doesn’t face any real challenge to his starting two-guard position either and the obvious candidate to back him up hasn’t even taken that job. In an eight or nine man rotation, the backup off guard might not be the usual suspect.hsfg43324234

springkateParticipant”I feel pretty good, but I keep telling you guys, I want to be 110 percent,” Howard said. ”I have to make sure I’m in great shape, and my conditioning is where it needs to be. It’s a process, and we’ll get there.”

hewzargaParticipantThe Houston Rockets tied up one more piece of unfinished business on Saturday night, trading disgruntled Kevin Martin to the Oklahoma City Thunder in a deal that landed James Harden in Houston. The Rockets also send Jeremy Lamb and future draft considerations to Oklahoma City. The Thunder also send Cole Aldrich, Daequan Cook and Lazar Hayward to Houston in the trade.afda32
