If he wants to be competetive right now, then he should go to Chicago. He would play with the eventually best point guard in the East (derrick rose), would have a solid small forward in Deng, and would have athletic/energy rebounders and defenders in Noah and Thomas. But if he wants to wait a bit then stay with Miami. I haven’t gived up on Beasley and i think he will prove a lot of people wrong this year. I hope he comes to chicago though

I know this is a basketball website but I will quote Herman Edwards. This is one of my favirote quotes of all time “You play to win the game!” I believe if Dwayne Wade wants to win a ring he would come on home to Chicago. This would make for arguably the best homegrown backcourts of all time! Atleast one of the most athletic. People forget that the Bulls also had a great draft. People really don’t know how good James Johnson is. The Bulls have a deep team! And I believe that after another season of Wade watching the Bulls and getting excited about them. He will surely come home. We definitely would welcome him back home…

TO THOSE OF US ON THE OUTSIDE looking in..RESIGNING with the heat seems the best thing to do..but players have problems with the coach ,gm and others in management that fans will never know or hear about..but i think miami only needs a few pieces to compete for a title…but if they fail to get wade some help..going to a team like atlanta makes alot of sense..joe johnson is an allstar..but not a superstar.i mean a franchise player..wade goin to the ATL and playing with some good young forwards ,a good point guard and a top 10 center like horford a championship could quickly be within reach..

A lot of this depends on what Miami does with that cap space this off season. If they can sign a top free agent, that could change things. Plus he might feel loyal to Pat Riley and miami. He has his very own team where he can play out his career and establish a legacy. I think he stays in miami, but they must get a top free agent first before he resigns.

Does Chicago have enough room to pull the signing off? I agree Chicago is the place to go, no matter what Miami does, Boozer wouldn’t be enough for me. Beasley would have to become a budding star and Boozer would have to be healthy the whole season this year…then some other things.
Why wouldn’t he go to a team stacked with Salmons, Rose, Deng, Hinrich, Noah, Thomas, and Johnson, I believe Pargo as well

the bulls could sign wade with miller leaving. But they have team options on both Tyrus thomas and Joakim Noah, and they would have to let one of them go as well to afford Wade.

How about trading Thomas and Miller to the Suns for Amare.
Starting Lineup – Rose, Salmons, Deng, Amare, and Noah.
Bench – Hinrich, Pargo, Johnson, etc.
I think the salaries would work. Then if he doesn’t want to resign…let him walk and bring in Wade! Either way you are getting rid or Thomas and Miller, but bring another Good player for this year.

looks good for chicago. But Phoenix might not like it. I still think they will give amare a long term deal. If not, then they will probably want something more then miller and thomas since both will just become free agants after the season. But yeah, that could work if Phoenix likes thomas and has no plans of giving Amare the big deal.

Bosh has also been with Wade too. So, like Rubio suggests maybe trade some players and sign Wade. Then you have in my opinion 3 of the best players.

I’m not saying this would work, but maybe a trade similar to that.

    Chicago Lineup:
    PG-Derrick Rose
    SG-Dwyane Wade
    SF-James Johnson?
    PF-Chris Bosh
    C-Joakim Noah

Pretty nice lineup, but like I say, I’m not sure is Chicago will trade for a PF.

I highly doubt toronto would do that trade. Hinrich and Deng are both considered somewhat bad long term contracts. Deng has gotten worse each year and still has like 5 years and 60 million owed to him. Hinrich is like 3 years and 30 million. I don’t see any way toronto gives up bosh to get those guys, especailly since deng and Hinrich would play the same position as their two best players in hedo and Calderon.

Chicago would be the ideal situation for Wade. They have better players than Miami as well, and they need to improve their SG position, and on top of it being Wade’s hometown, playing with Derrick Rose is a great compliment for him. They would be in the Finals by at least his 2nd year…
