kaceyParticipantNo need to get angry my friend. Its simply a case of me overvaluing Matthew Stafford. I noticed you were without a 3rd QB, and your QB’s go on bye pretty early.
Also, since you said if I throw in Welker or Boss in your e-mail with Davis, then I thought it was a serious enough offer. Plus I was throwing in a 3rd QB. Now I can understand why you might not want to do that, but what I don’t understand is the attitude you showed in that last post. I had a backup offer if you turned that one down that had Lee instead of Shockey, but why would I offer that first, if thought you might bite on my last offer.
So last offer:
Stafford, Davis, Bossfor
Donald Lee, McFadden
And let me remind you. Your QB’s go on bye weeks 4 and 5, probably the earliest combination of QBs in this league.

tjtehanskyParticipantalright that’s fine. mcfadden has a good chance of becoming my #2 RB so i’m not going to give him up for 2 bench players. i see you’re in need of a #2 since thomas isn’t too reliable and is already injured.

kaceyParticipantI think Thomas will be fine. Yeah, he’ll probably miss the first game of the year, but he should be good to go after week 1. I’m not looking too hard for a #2, because I think Mike Bell might get enough carries while Thomas is out. As of right now, Pierre Thomas’ value hasn’t dropped at all, until its certain that his injury will be a major concern for the entire season, which I doubt. MCL sprains, typically have no long-term effects once they are properly healed. It really just depends on the severity of the sprain and it was originally diagnosed as a Grade 1 sprain, which usually takes 2-3 weeks to recover. He is going on his 3rd week now.

rozookoaooaParticipantAustin Rivers – Pick originally owned by the Minnesota Timberwolves
Although he had no idea at the time, at 13 years old a trade between the Los Angeles Clippers and Minnesota Timberwolves went down that would become a factor for Rivers later in life. The Timberwolves traded Sam Cassell and a 2006 first-round pick with protections only through 2011 to the Los Angeles Clippers in exchange for Marko Jaric and Lionel Chambers. The protections came into play all the way until 2012, when it became unprotected.0 - AuthorPosts
