Al-Farouq AminuParticipantIn no particular order:
Lebron James
Josh Smith
Andre Iguodala
Jason Richardson
Vince Carter
Dwight Howard
Amare Stoudamire
Nate Robinson
Dwyane Wade
Jamario Moon ?0 - Posted on: Wed, 09/09/2009 - 5:04am #211324
trojans13ParticipantHe cant do anything else, and dont see a whole lot of tick but he did occupy a roster spot so I would have to include my man James White on this list. his only nba skill may be dunking but it sure is a good one

doubledribblerParticipantSeems like there aren’t many big guys that are great dunkers, but again it’s way more impressive to see a little guy get up than a big guy, especially tiny guys like Spud Webb and now Nate Robinson. I’m not sure I would put Amare up there and I’m not sure about Moon or if Richardson still has the same dunking ability anymore. Who knows, he’s probably in his late 20s, but something about how he plays now makes me think he’s about 32 or 33.

Anton123ParticipantRichardson did have a few impressive dunks this season, the 180 alley-oop and an in game 360.
Vince did have a game inner, but I don’t think he is a top 10 dunker anymore….
Gay must be in, maybe DeRozan will get there0 - Posted on: Wed, 09/09/2009 - 7:12am #211344

JNixonParticipantIn no true order:
Andre Iguodala
Gerald Green
Dwyane Wade
Lebon James
Nate Robinson
Vince Carter
JR Smith
Rudy Gay
Jason Richardson
(My sleeper) Terrence WilliamsI also think Sonny Weems deserves mention, he is a bench warming 2nd year player from Arkansas but boy is he a freak athlete. If he develops his skills more to get PT, he will show off his dunks an be a Slam Dunk participant.

JoeWolf1Julian Wright, only plays limited minutes, but he can seriously throw it down with the best in the league, I’m surprised he hasn’t been in a dunk contest yet.

doubledribblerParticipantIt’s hard for me to get a good gauge on how good of a dunker Carter is right now, just because he really doesn’t attack the rim like he used to. When he goes in, he usually does some kind of circus shot. He’s easily one of the best in game dunkers of all time though. There are a lot of guys that can’t do the same dunks in games or on people. Somebody mentioned Rudy Fernandez, I think of him as more of an in game dunker, not so much of a guy that’s going to wow you in a contest though.
