    Me and my bud were just throwing around some crazy ideas the other day and we were just arguing over stupid stuff but here was our argument.

    Your team consists of Chris Paul, Wade, Lebron, Bosh, and Howard. They have to play the entire 48 minutes and have no bench. Obviously this team would murder any team but how would you defend against this team? Knowing that they can not rest, how does this change your game plan? Choose any NBA team other than the ones these superstars are on and describe your game plan of how you would play against them. Play your bench firs to get them tired, Run and Gun the entire time, etc.

    damn this is a good question. I would try the run n’ gun, but those guys can run too haha. I would definetley clog the lane on d and make them shoot jumpers, because none of them are great shooters. But they would still probably win. All those guys are so young that playing the entire game wouldnt have a huge effect on them

    I would pick…The Los Angeles Lakers

    I would also, Run them down then once I get the lead…either bring in my boys off the bench to cause a fight to one of them ejected.

    Thats what I was thinking henry. Playing one game on 48 minutes probably wouldnt be that bad. but playing 10 in a row or so would really start to eat the players alive

    Sign Bruce Bowen and get him to knock LeBron, Wade, and Paul down a couple of times. 🙂 jk haha,
    I’d play 3-2 zone and let them have the three, if they hit it, they win, if not we got a good shot.

    I was thinkin the same thing. If a team played them after they had already played a couple games then yeah, my team would have a shot, but if it was just one game, then there is no team in the league that could beat them

    I would just take it to the rim hard with everyone every time. If you get them in foul trouble early on when they get tired they will make stupid fouls and you got ’em.

    The Lakers have a ton of talent. I think they would have a hard time beating that team, but you have to think you have pretty good chances when your team has Kobe, Gasol, Odom, Artest and even Bynum. You really have no choice but to run with that team and try to wear them down. Running is going to make sure they work on defense. I think in the beginning of the game there is a good chance the running doesn’t work so well, but as the game goes on, the guys are going to wear down, especially the big men. Also, I am wanting to make sure that Howard gets the ball a lot. He’s raw offensively and I like my chances with him more than anyone else on the court. I think because the team doesn’t have great shooting that their spacing would be horrible, so everyone would be sagging in some which would help to clog up the lanes and keep wade, paul, and lebron out of the paint.

    Teams close to this good have lost before…Just look at Olympic teams in 2004 and 02 that lost to way worse talent than any NBA team has to offer….I think the Lakers would beat this team if all had to play 48 minutes.. possibly pretty handidly
