YouthinkyouknowParticipantDo you think there chances of making the league?
Both in my opinon are very solid guards who I fell are very underrated they were part of perhaps the biggest turn around season in college basketball this decade. If Gtown has a solid season what do you think the chances are for these two players?0 - Posted on: Sun, 09/06/2009 - 3:00am #210441

Lemons4LifeParticipantThey will be great, with Monroe too. I see them as late1st to late 2nd rnd. draft picks depending on what kinda year they have.

JNixonParticipantI do think Wright has the better chance than Freeman, he has more upside and made good improvement from his freshman to sophomore years. He’ll be the undisputed leader of the team with Summers and Sapp gone. He can score and pass decent, nothing real special though.
Freeman isnt a player thats real great to me. He’s built like a linebacker and he plays slower than most wing players, but when he tries to get to the rim he can take it because players bounce off of him. He is usually a shooter though, and he’s nothing special there either.
I think both are solid college guys, but long shots as prospects.

Henry25ParticipantFreeman has a chance, he’s athletic and a solid shooter. realistically though they will probably be both 2nd roud picks

quincey hodgesfreeman has a pretty good chance since hes a pretty good shooter..could have a career similar to another hometown dematha product..keith bogans..both probably have a chance after there sr year unless they really lead gtown somewhere this year

Da1potParticipantFreeman has really underrated athleticism and is an excellent shooter, but his lack of size and speed are what will really hurt him. Chris Wright is a shooting guard in a point guards body. The only way he can improve his pro stock is by showing people he can be a good distributor as well as a scorer. Look out for Jason Clark on Gtwon this year. He can really play and people will be talking about him as an NBA prosepct by the end of the season.

YouthinkyouknowParticipantI agree at times last year chris looked confused as to wether he should look to score or distribute the ball… Freeman plays at a slow pace but is suprisingly athletic and a solid shooter defense will be his question far as the NBA is concerned as he as below average footspeed…. Chris is explosive and quick who is a underated passer but has struggled with his consistancy as a shooter and decsion making both are solid second round prospects!
