R-Dot-13ParticipantWho are your sleepers to win the NBA Awards this year?
MVP Sleeper: Brandon Roy
I’ll have more in a bit .

JNixonParticipantRookie of the Year Sleeper: Jordan Hill

blazer_fan_foreverParticipantCan win it is if the Blazers have the first or maybe second best record in the NBA. Also, add a healthy Gilbert Arenas to the list…I think he will suprise some people.

TH38L4CKM4M84D Rose- MVP Sleeper
The Bulls were hot after making the mid season trades and if they finish with a top 3 record in the east its possible.0 - Posted on: Mon, 08/31/2009 - 1:17pm #208379

MagikKnickParticipantMVP: Chris Paul
ROY: Toney Douglas..think about it
DPOY: D-Wade
MIP – Larry Hughes

R-Dot-13ParticipantRose will NOT be MVP .
He may not even be an all star .0 - Posted on: Mon, 08/31/2009 - 1:18pm #208382

JoeWolf16th man sleeper- Chris Anderson
Last year was his first full year back after the suspension, he he continues to block 2.5 shots per and ups his points and rebounding averages as he re-adjusts back to the NBA game I think he could be in contention
0 - Posted on: Mon, 08/31/2009 - 1:24pm #208384

JNixonParticipantYou dont think Derrick Rose will ever be an all-star???
0 - Posted on: Mon, 08/31/2009 - 1:25pm #208385

R-Dot-13Participanti meant this year .
0 - Posted on: Mon, 08/31/2009 - 1:27pm #208386

llperezmvp sleeper-Arenas
rookie sleeper-Jordan Hill
6th man-Kevin Love
coach of the year- Jerry Sloan(he should have one already)0 - Posted on: Mon, 08/31/2009 - 1:27pm #208387

JNixonParticipantIt said even, my bad. I thought it said ever….haha
0 - Posted on: Mon, 08/31/2009 - 1:28pm #208388

R-Dot-13Participanthaha, i thought “he probably thinks i said ever”
0 - Posted on: Mon, 08/31/2009 - 1:29pm #208390

llperezI know we’ve been over this numerous times, but I think Rose will be an all-star next year. I see 20 points, 8 assists, 5 rebounds and becoming one of the best pg’s in the league. I think he and Arenas will be the two best pg’s in the east next year.
0 - Posted on: Mon, 08/31/2009 - 1:31pm #208391

R-Dot-13Participanti disagree.
I think if he scores 20 ppg he’ll have around 6 apg.
I predict 18-7 for Rose, and doesnt get in.
He’s at best the 4th PG in the east right now .0 - Posted on: Mon, 08/31/2009 - 1:32pm #208393

JNixonParticipantYea I do think Rose will be an all-star, but Rondo may make me eat my words. Im beginning to think Del Negro will revamp his playbooks and run things better suited for Rose, which will make his numbers better. He also will be a great defender in the very near future.
0 - Posted on: Mon, 08/31/2009 - 1:37pm #208395

R-Dot-13ParticipantGuards:
Wade
Arenas
Johnson
Rondo
Harris
Iguodalaall have a better chance IMO
0 - Posted on: Mon, 08/31/2009 - 1:38pm #208396

MagikKnickParticipantJameer Nelson and Mo Williams made the all-star game last year based on only team success
Devin Harris made it solely because hes a good player, despite being on a bad team
The Bulls are a “slightly below average team” in my opinion, and better than all 3 of the guys i mentioned above, I dont see why he cant make the all-star team
Not to mention Allen Iverson might not even be in the east this season, so thats 1 less person to compete with it

aarondsonixfanParticipantllperez isn’t love starting at the 4?
0 - Posted on: Mon, 08/31/2009 - 6:21pm #208529

sameolGParticipantD-Wade’s gonna win MVP and DPY in the same year!
0 - Posted on: Mon, 08/31/2009 - 6:37pm #208535

llperezaarondsonixfan-Possibly, which is why I said sleeper. Love didn’t start alongside Jefferson last year because they don’t complient each other well defensively. Plus, they are both kinda slow which doesn’t translate well to the transition game. I think there is a chance that Ryan Hollins, who really showed signs last year, might start alongside Jefferson. He is an athletic 7 foot shot blocker who runs like a dear. He should really compliment either Jefferson or Love and thus might be the starter. It was just a wild guess more then a prediction since it said sleeper picks.

Henry25Participanthaha i can actually see wade winning mvp and dpy next year.. that would be awesome.
MVP: Kevin Durant, if they make the playoffs and leads the league in scoring while upping his rebounds, assists, rebounds, and defense i could see it happening.
MIP: Amir Johnson
6th man: Lamar Odom
ROY: james johnson
DPY: D-Wade
