JoeWolf1no way Craig Brackins is player of the year on an Iowa State team that will probably win 14 games.

JNixonParticipantI want to believe Coach Montgomery has told Randle that he wants him to be more a passing PG this year as opposed to being the sometimes erratic-overdribbling chucker he was last year. I think Randle will look to create for his teammates more, and they are very improved from last year. I expect about 14 ppg and 6 ot 7 assists, while I expect Christopher to get about 19 or 20 ppg next year.

xbadgerhustlerParticipantDON’T SLEEP ON KALIN LUCAS. Evan Turner is the better pro prospect, but Lucas is the likely POY

JNixonParticipantYea, I think it will have alot to do with team success in the Conference POY awards in the Big 12 and with Kansas, OU, Texas, OK State and Kstate as the leaders of the top heavy conference, look for Warren, Collins, Aldrich, James Anderson, or possibly Avery Bradley and Dexter Pittman to be candidates before Brackins. Probably because they will be so bad next yr.

Ryan.Cook2Participanteveryone compares him to rose and it seems like everyone has him being better than rose was is college. I think Patterson will still be their best player, like douglas-roberts was still memphis’ best player.

CameronCrazieParticipantYea I forgot about Lucas he will likely be POY
0 - Posted on: Mon, 08/31/2009 - 12:34pm #208361

JNixonParticipantYea Patterson will be the most gameplanned for probably. John Wall will have to look to feed him on the block and on the high post. I think Patterson will be their Number 1 option, its just that the (similar to Rose) John Wall will make so many plays that make you gasp for air that he’ll be the better pro prospect and will get more recognition from the NBA.

JNixonParticipantI agree about Vazquez…and Dwayne Collins of Miami is a darkhouse. He reminds me of a shorter, stockier Jordan Hill. Explosive finisher around the rim, will tear the rim off the glass. Just needs more polish.
