i hope so (i’m a pistons fan), but he could end up like amir johnson, he had all the potential, but never put it together.

I think him & Rodrique Beaubois will be the biggest steals.

I think budinger could be the steal of the draft, teach him how to play d and he’ll be allright

BJ Mullens was a huge steal

mullens if he pans out will be amazimg, hes so athletic and in oklahome he’ll just have to rebound and defend and get those easy scores, with durant and them scoring the load

Technically he wasnt drafted in the lottery, but I agree…a steal at 15? Shouldn’t you expect a good player at 15 anyway?

In the past draft no one talked about a player at 15 with Daye’s abilities unless they were raw. Daye has a chance to show that he should have been take top 5 at least. He has all the skills and just needs to add weight and that was said about Durant and you see what he is doing now. My only thing is detroit may not have room for him right now to get the minutes he needs.

I’ve been calling bust a little with him. I just think that physically he will have some trouble in the league. I dont see him beating NBA 3’s of the trouble and he would get abused if he had to guard an NBA power forward in my opinion. He would only be a 3 point shooter, and the line is farther back so he might not be that good for a while. When I watched him play, he looks like a very average athlete to me, and althought it doesnt mean everything, he was among the worst in several categories of the combine and to me that is kind of a red flag, considering how “mobile” people say he is. 6’10 and skinny and slow hasn’t boded well for people in the past.
