xbadgerhustlerParticipanti’d go kobe… i feel like, in a pinch, he could be a serviceable player at any position… he can be a lockdown defender when he puts his mind to it (gilbert arenas 61 pts aside) he can hit the 3, he can get to the foul line, he’s a decent clutch player, he’s got basically every move in his arsenal…
i just checked though and i thought he’d be a much better 3 pt shooter than 35%…
I also thought about LBJ, Granger, Odom, KG
what do u think

wowthisisneatParticipantHe can play positions 1-4 effectively both offensively and defensively. Hell he could have done a better job on Dwight in the playoffs than Z.

Champzilla21ParticipantAt the moment its lebron and its not even close, depending on the team he can play all 5 positions, hes just so big and fast, in his prime kg was so versitile he could play every position effectively on both offense and defense, randolph will be able to play 1-5 on offense, but on d hes gunna have to get stronger if he wants to become a lock down defender which i know he could do.

xbadgerhustlerParticipantLBJ can play the most positions… i’ll give you that. but just in terms of his offensive repertoire? and his defensive abilties? I think Kobe has more weapons (a more versatile arsenal) and plays better defense

Champzilla21Participantof course he has the most versatile arsenal, but just think about it, lebron agaisnt a pg, would absolutely dominate him on offense way to big, on defense lebron is just as quick as everyone and his size gives him the advantage, this works all the way through 1-3, when he plays the 4 hes big enough to defend and on offense his 10 times quicker then pretty much every pf in the game this applies to 4-5, lebron is just a better athlete then everyone he plays against so he always has the advantage, i mean he has lots of weapons but the one kobe cant replicate is 6’8 260

xbadgerhustlerParticipantKobe would obliterate any PG that tried to guard him…
LBJ is clearly the most versatile physical specimen, but at this point i like kobe’s game better. if you give him the shot, he’s going to make it. if u take that away, he’ll blow by you. if you’re short he’ll post u up, if you’re slow he’ll blow by you. i donno, he just has a really versatile game. and this is all coming from someone who hates kobe

JNixonParticipantDont sleep on Boris Diaw either guys, he has played every position and been pretty effective. And I agree about Randolph being most versatile in a few yrs. He has size and skill.

sheltwon3ParticipantI would go with Odom. Odom could possibly play all 5 position on the court. Also Lebron has not post game, Kobe lacks size but has the game to play all position in the NBA. Odom is the most versatile until Lebron gets a post game.

quincey hodgesi want to say lebron but he doesnt have a post game..defensively id go with him even though hed have trouble with the bigs because banging with them takes alot ot of a guy..he wouldnt be flying as much in the fourth quarter..same with him checking a pg..thats alot more running then the sf/sg he is used to checking. all in all i think i would pick shawn marion

PureshooterParticipantI think Kobe could effectively play 1-4 on offense, but only 1-3 on defense. He just doesn’t have the size and strength to guard a true power forward or center. LeBron could go 1-4 on offense or defense.
It may sound strange, but give Anthony Randolph a couple of years. That guy is unbelievably quick with guard skills in a 6’10 body.
