Just a thought guys… I know everyone here noticed the ridiculous amount of injuries to impact starters last season and I was wondering does that mean we are in for a MAJOR shakeup in the standings this year or does somehow everything stay pretty much the same? I mean, the Wizards barely had a team last year with all their injuries and there is no question their squad is top 15 on paper. Milwaukee’s season was wrecked before it even began, Philly got hit, as well as N.O. Don’t even mention the Clippers, their trainers and physicians should get a raise. Suns? Jazz? T-Mac? The teams I mentioned actually had playoff-level talent. I didn’t even mention Minny. I think this season could very well surprise us all even though it really shouldn’t. No one seems to think about this phenomenon when ranking teams for next season. What do yall think?

I don’t expect a major shake up. You will see the same ole teams in the playoffs again. I imagine the seeds will switch up quite a bit from last year but I don’t see many new teams making the playoffs. Probably 1 or 2 teams from each conference that made the playoffs last season will not make it this season….so expect 1 or 2 new playoff teams per conference.

Gatorheels that’s generally how it happens too from year to year. People forget that it seems when they proclaim some team with no shot but a hotshot prospect or two is all of a sudden gonna win 40 or more games. Seeds and teams change about every 5 years not every 1 or 2. Sorry but that’s the reality.

Yea, Washington was a team that I kept wondering why they were sooo bad. They had alot of talent even without Arenas. I think they will have a monster year.

I remember last year, people projected Philly as a top 4 seed in the East….you never know

I expect Washington and Indiana to make it from the East at the cost of Detroit and Chicago. With Chi-Town i think they will make adjustments throughout the season and be a regular play-off contender after that.

In the West I think Houston will miss out and LA Clippers will make it in as 8 seed. Apart from that it will be business as usual in the West.

Bulls will definitely be a playoff despite the improvements of both Washington and Toronto. Cle, Bos, and Orl are the only guarenteed East playoff teams after that it’s crap shoot..Atlanta was the 4th seed last year, does Jamal never saw a shot I didnt like Crawford improve them or keep their position? Of course not…Regarding the West there is no way in hell the Clips are a playoff team over OKC or even Phoenix for that matter with a healthy Amare

i hope my lakers repeat i dont know if the bulls are going to make the playoffs now that gordon is gone and he was a big piece of their team last year and he average the most points for the team i dont think they are sure thing for the playoffs they depend on rose to much and unless luol deng comeback healthy they might not make it but if james johnson get the right amount of minutes they can suprise me. i hope OKC make the playoffs i like there young team.

I think that the Wizards are gonna be good this year they got M. Miller and R.Foye a healthy G. Arenas, C. Butler, B. Haywood and A. Jamison I think they are gonna score a lot of points and win at least 50 games this year I really thought last year was a fluke for them.
