Vick definitely got a good home in the NFL. There is absolutely ZERO chance he would start over Donovan, he would probably be the last on the depth chart. He hasn’t even touched a football in 2 years there is no way he could come in and run the Eagles’ offense and be effective. The rest of that division would murder him. He will most likely be used sparingly for a wildcat type scheme.

It’s gonna be a blast running around with him in Madden again. I just hope he has his old speed ratings.

The funny thing was they were talking about how Burress was still in the available free agent pool in the game even though he will for sure be in jail this season lol. Madden completely dissed Vick hardcore.

It’s illegal to fight dogs, but people can go to the woods and kill innocent wildlife? Both should be illegal.

There is a huge difference between hunting and dog fighting.

Dog Fighting tortures dogs. They battle eachother until death, and the ones who survive are often very hurt themselves. Hunting is quick usually one shot kill.

Dogs in dog fighting are put on rape stands and are forced to breed. Deer don’t have to go through that.

Another thing with hunting is that is controls an over-crowded population, and they are used for food (do you think killing chickens for food is terrible?)

Maybe this is the wrong post but I was thinking that Allen Iverson still has not been signed and Michael Vick has been signed. Maybe that off to play in Greece is looking sweeter. Congrats to Michael Vick for making it back, he is a fun player to watch but come on now where is the love for A.I? All signs pionting to Larry Brown in Charlotte? Maybe I should of posted.

It’s good to see Vick get a second chance. What he did was horrible, but he did his time and paid his debt to society.

He couldn’t be in a better situation. I’m interested to see if he’ll play in the last couple pre-season games.

i dont understand this, vick got one year in jail for fighting dogs. and hes getting 6 games for this seasoon. donte stallworth got 24 days of jail ad he killed some while drunk.(not the whole story)but the main point is his actions lead to a death of a human being. and im pretty sure a humans life is worth more then how ever many vick killed.(even tho he didnt do the stuff. he provided capital and a place for the fighting to hapen) dont get me wrong, what vick did was horrible and he got what he deserves. But stallworth is getting off to light here.he got one year suspention with no pay from league. Vick and eagles are going to get harassed by Peta. i dont think it was fair at all.

that is true dog fighting is different then hunting, though i dont believe in either. hunters can go buy food at the store. Most hunt for sport not because they need to do it to it, which is why im always rooting for the deer when they attack hunters:)

I agree with you 100%. Stallworth is getting off light. He actually killed a HUMAN BEING. What Vick participated in was cruel, but there are players in the NFL that have gotten second chances and have done MUCH worse.

I think our society is hypocritical. I understand dog fighting is cruel, but how isn’t hunting for sport cruel? How isn’t racing horses cruel? Some of those horses get injured and are never the same again. Some of them are even put down. How is testing products on animals not cruel? You don’t think any of those animals die from product testing? Have you seen the way they kill cows before turning them into beef, etc? They showed a video of it while I was in college and I stopped eating meat the same day. That’s how vicious it was.

Our society is hypocritical. The same people who are making Vick’s life a living hell are probably the same people who hunt for sport and are fans of the Kentucky Derby. After protesting against Vick, they get their shotguns and then go shoot a baby deer drinking water from a pond. Hypocritical.

I think Vick suffered enough…I mean, in the end he killed dogs and lost 2 years in his prime.

He lost millions of dollars and I see no reason why people should not accept him. I feel it’s a tad rasict and unrealistic to feel he should never come back nor be allowed to
