Signing Leon Powe would bring the Cavs roster to 13 players and they are not done. Despite having six big men on the roster already, Powe’s injury and J.J. Hickson’s recovery from a back injury still may leave the team short. So, according to a league source, the Cavs are still considering signing Joe Smith or perhaps Rob Kurz.

    >> I love Joe Smith… I think he can be a good/solid compliment to LBJ’s plays… He is a consummate professional who has had a solid career… I thought he would be gone after the Cavs signed Powe and Varejao but I was wrong… I would love to add him if I were Danny Ferry… He is a no-nonsense player and a backup off the bench who gives it his all when given the PT. For Average Joe, the time is now since father time is nearly upon him at 34 years of age…
