    Knicksboy- Hopson reminds me some of Brandon Rush. Hopson is the better athlete though.

    I am trying to think of a better comparison for Hopson. I have seen Hopson play a ton of times & have played against him at the YMCA.

    Who is an SG/SF in the NBA that is lazy on defense, pretty athletic, very quick first step, solid shooter but settles for jumpshots too often & doesn’t attack the basket enough?

    Yeah I think Hopson is a 1st round pick. Not sure if he will declare for the 2010 draft though.

    Comparing him to JR Giddens is pretty close except Hopson is a better shooter.

    hopson may be a better shooter but giddens has him by a bit in the athleticism department.

    Pittman has come a long way from being a really slow fat guy. He reminds me of Greg Oden more than anyone else. Neither has any real post moves to speak of, and their main goal is to overpower you and dunk it on your head. Both have conditioning issues. Both are good rebounders. Both foul a ridiculous amount for the limited minutes they play. Oden is the better athlete and has better footwork in the post, but that will come to Pittman with time and more training.
