Hakeem the Dream!!! tim learned his moves from hakeem. Also hakeems footwork was unreal. his fakes were crazy. A defender could never relax when guarding hakeem. U mix athleticsm with size and skill and u get the dream

easily Hakeem….but don’t discount Jordan, I know everyone is probably thinking PF/C, but Jordan was unguardable when posting a defender.

Easily Hakeem, so much misdirection before the actual shot he always had the defender guessing.

Hakeem hands down. He tricks the defenders with his fake shots.

Don’t underestimate Kareem. He had two effective counters to his hook. Hakeem might be the right answer here, but Kareem was certainly up there.

Shaq also deserves some recognition for the fact that he never failed to score when he wasn’t fouled and needed to.

Even though im young i seen his highlights and he was killing shaq when they played him and penny in the finals. shaq couldnt guard him.

Hakeem no doubt

Hakeem had about 1,000 moves because for every move he had, he had about 5 counters to anything you threw at him. He was probably my favorite player to watch ever. He was truly UNSTOPPABLE- you just had to hope he’d miss.

One guy who doesn’t get a lot of exposure these days is my MAN Big Al Jefferson. I’ve never seen someone stop this guy one on one in the post. He has an incredibly soft touch and his footwork is textbook. I think he was good before he came to MN, but working with McHale really helped put him in an elite class in the NBA. I will say he needs to work on passing outta the double team, but his post moves are awesome.

Both the best, soon to join their ranks, Al Jefferson. He has more tricks in the post than any other player today.

Growing up as a Laker fan, the ultimate sign of respect was the fact that I would try to model my post game after Kevin McHale.

Then came the Dream, Hakeem took it to the next level with his athleticism, foot work and innovation.

Timmy’s post game is awesome, Big Al is getting close, and Shaq took the power post game to another level.

We would be remiss if we didn’t mention the Dunking Dutchmen, Rik Smits. His fade away/ up and under was unstoppable and he could jump hook with either hand as well as fade away from either shoulder.

Ah Rik Smits… He and Reggie Miller were a good combo. And the Davis brothers banging on the inside complemented his finesse game very well… I forgot about that squad. Plus Mark Jackson to make it all happen. wow
