McWinningParticipantbecause the two players playing beside him on the court would fit in perfectly with him.
Chalmers & Iverson.
Chalmers main skill skill is while Iverson is a 6-0 shooting guard. Chalmers at 6-2 is a little short to guard a shooting guard but he proved himself as a top defender and i think he could make the switch to guarding the shooting guard while Iverson guards the point guard.
Wade & Iverson.
Wade has always been somewhat of a point guard throughout his career with the heat and is one of the best defensive players in the league. again he can play point and guard shooting guard, while Iverson guards point guard and play shootong guard.
my one problem is i dont know how well a second year coach could handle Iverson. what do you think?

CLYDE-frazier10Participantwade and iverson need the ball in thier hands to score. AI is not a spot up shooter. Dwade is not a spot of shooter. They both make their money by driving to the hoop. With that said unless iverson wants to come off the bench miami wud not be a good fit IMO. he needs a place where he can be AI, the answer to sell tickets for a bad team.

McWinningParticipanti meant this would only work if hes willing to come off the bench and be a second option.

D_LegendParticipantThe bobcats are most likely his best fit, next being the knicks. Like Future said he needs to be on a team where he is the 1st option

bluedevils12Participantnew york better than charlotte. I mean new york is a huge market and i think ultimately it would come down 2 iverson wanting 2 get his name back out there and putting up big points. Playing in the garden could only make iverson want to play there more.

D_LegendParticipant^^^ Very true

foxman2slyParticipantI agree that AI would fit in Miami- IF- he were to come off the bench. Wade , AI and Beasley would be a the three scorers. The fact that neither AI or Wade is a solid 3 point threat is a problem, but you would always have a guard that can get to the paint and the line and Jones and Beasley shooting threes could offset that.
That being said, Charlotte is the best place for him, he would start over Raja and the relationship with Larry Brown is a positive.

McWinningParticipantJames Jones if healthy is a good three point shooter. but yeah they still would lack three point shooting.

doubledribblerParticipantHe should go play for the Bobcats. They need scoring and that’s what he does. There aren’t really any dominant players on that team and Larry Brown is the coach. He should look at it as a chance to lead a team to the playoffs. They were close last year and can definitely still have a chance this year. If he can lead Charlotte to the playoffs and have an all star year, I think he can squeeze out another nice contract and go somewhere that is more to his liking.
