what postion is the best in the NBA

but lately there only been three alright centers , dwight is great but his body makes him that good has no real skill except being crazy athletic , im saying center becuz its the easiest position , block shots, get rebs dunk on people
i think todays centers are lazy and once u a great center the game is yours

dwight howard 23, Andris Biedrins 23 and mr bynum 21 they should come along if they want it and all very young and im not talkin about old centers shaq and timmy duncan

Power Forward. almost every team has a good one and the league is loaded with 15-20 pts a game power forwrds.

Come one. Teams with great SG’s win champinships. Give me a past winner and see if they dont have a great SG. Ok, that will be proven wrong but I think having a Great SG will get you further than a great PF, or SF.

If you removed or replaced the small forwards that are in this league from their teams it would be a much bigger hit then if the point guards were removed. On average the gap between starting sf and backup sf is bigger then the gap between starting pg and backup pg. Again this is on average.

SF has an overall better talent level

but PG is really deeep, you have guys like DJ Augustin & Rafer Alston who come of the bench for there teams and can be real impact players

SG, kobe, wade, roy, j-johnson, ginobli carter, mayo, mcgrady, arenas.

its jus way too deep there. there are great small forwards all over the place in and out of the nba. even the backups look good

The SF position is only as deep as its starters
Like PhsycoTforPres said, theres a big drop of between SF starter and backup

Corey Maggette, SHane Battier, Andre Kirilenko, Travis Outlaw, Lamar Odom(tweener but plays the position). Jon salmons was a backup but that changes next year
