Meditated StatesParticipantIf someone else goes before Wall next year is he the guy to do it? If not him who else has a shot?

MagikKnickParticipantEd Davis
He would of been a top 7 pick last season, and he got like 20 mpg
imagine what hes gonna do with 30+mpg0 - Posted on: Sun, 08/02/2009 - 12:02pm #194691
Knicks21True Hodges. What do you think of Davis and Henson?

Meditated StatesParticipantMonroe can also play his way into that spot. No doubt. I am real high on that kids game. If he turns the corner this season like I think he will he definately can be 1st.

quincey hodgesim iffy on davis..though hes athletic and plays good defense hes pretty raw on offense..no real post moves and now the defense will be focusing on him…i like henson because of his versitility and the fact he can hit a jumper..but both has a lil ways to go and neither will dominate..uncs best offensive threat down low will be thompson even though he doesnt have the best pro potenial….but i do believe the first pick will be greg or some other soph ..nba draft.net and the other sites tend to get it wrong with the number one pick when untill mid season unless its a obvious pick like oden or james

GreenLanternParticipantI thought I was the only one on here who thinks Monroe COULD be #1.

Meditated StatesParticipantI think Wall and Favors are right there for it, but Monroe is the only college player right now I see that could take it from them.

GreenLanternParticipantYep I think Wall or Favors are likely to be #1 but Greg Monroe’s skill set as a 6’10” or 6″11″ post player hasn’t been seen in a long time. I see Wall and potentially Monroe as next generation players at their positions if they can produce at a level matching their talent.
