don042488ParticipantRodney Carney to me is a poor man’s Latrell Sprewell..He’s rail thin, extremely fast & energenic, he’s a streaky shooter, he’s very athletic, he anticipates passes very well, and he plays hard on defense also…I don’t see why no team hasn’t picked this kid up yet…I know the Lakers have Artest to replace Ariza’s spot, but I think they should still sign Carney to a modest deal…Even Orlando, they could sign him to replace Courtney Lee’s youthfulness…The Bucks could use him too

D HampParticipantCarney! I was a fan of his at Memphis. I believe he is from the Detroit area.
Well, he hasn’t proven much of anything since being drafted on a pretty weak 76ers squad. Honestly, there are too many free agents such as Linas Kleiza who haven’t signed and are ahead of him in free agency. Carney may not be in the league next season. Sorry.

JNixonParticipantHe should be on a roster though, but I watched him play alot last yr and with Philly. He is HORRIBLE at creating his own offense (he cant dribble very good, and he plays stiff), and he isnt good at any particular skill outside of his spot up jumper, which is pretty inconsistent. He does fight on D though, especially in the passing lanes. I dont know how much of a player he is though, he seems like a track star that plays Bball by accident.

Celtics341He is a energy guy at best.

Celtics341This site gave him a 0 on ball handling…lol
0 - Posted on: Sat, 08/01/2009 - 3:24pm #194327

IndianaBasketballParticipantD Hamp… Naw he’s from Nap Town. I played against him during high school ball here in Indianapolis. Iguodala9 you were on point about what you said. His outside jumper is decent and he can run/jump out of the gym, but that’s about it on the NBA level. He lacks the ball handling ability to create his own offense and he doesn’t have any killer instinct. Somebody will pick him up though.

D HampParticipantTezo83, read the whole post. I sad I believe he was from Detroit, but I wasn’t sure. Unlike most of this site, I don’t google information, I go straight from my mind.

IndianaBasketballParticipantAnd though you went off of the top of your mind, you was still wrong. You’re the one who says you’re the greatest basketball mind in the world bruh! Stop crying and being insecure… The intent wasn’t to put you on blast. If it was, I’d say so. It was to represent my area and who’s from here.
