JNixonParticipant1.) Kansas
2.)Texas
3.) Kansas State
4.) Oklahoma
5.) Oklahoma StatePOY: Willie Warren

catoosanumber22i agree with everything on this list except k-state being above oklahoma, I believe OU has a little more talent. Good list and picks though

JNixonParticipantWatch, Kansas State will go 12-4 in conference play. I think OU will be like 10-6 or 11-5.

catoosanumber22OU has a better coach and more talent though

JNixonParticipantThey are both about the same as coaches, with Frank Martin being the better motivator and X’s and O’s guy. OU does have more talent on offense, but Warren will shoot them out of games and they dont have ANY real good defenders.

catoosanumber22i doubt Warren will shoot them out of many games,i don’t know any projected top 10 picks that shoot their teams out of games

JNixonParticipantAllen Iverson, Jamal Crawford, Ben Gordon (who Warren is compared to), Adam Morrison before he was a bench warmer. There are some top 10 picks that are chuckers.

catoosanumber22ok man when OU finishes with the better record and better overall season you’ll be eating ur words. Besides Waren is better than anyone on K-State’s roster as next year’s nba draft will prove

FutureoftheGameThe draft doesnt prove who is a better player. All that proves is that certian people get alot of hype from the media. I would give examples but the people who know what the are talking about already know what im saying.

catoosanumber22bro WVU is overrated and OU is better than both KSU and WVU and OU already beat WVU a couple years back that was funy shit
0 - Posted on: Fri, 07/31/2009 - 7:51am #193606
FutureoftheGameThat was before Bob Huggins was there. And they are not overrated, they are underrated if anything. Get real. Yall are are going to struggle without the Griffin brothers to dominate.

FutureoftheGameAnd what brought up WVU??? I hadnt even posted anything about them. Are you just calling me out??
0 - Posted on: Fri, 07/31/2009 - 8:06am #193618

JNixonParticipantYes, he’s ridiculous. He is calling you out about a game that was played a couple of years ago. Ridiculous.

catoosanumber22yes faggot im callin u out u root for a weak a$$ team that OU can smash

Da1potParticipantosu is definately my conference sleeper. They’ve got some scary shooters and can fill it up in a hurry. James Anderson is a darkhorse conference player of the year and Obi Muonelo can seriously play. Texas seems to struggle with inconsistency all the time, but they will not finish lower than third.
my picks 1. Kansas
2.Texas
3. Oklahoma
4. Kansas State
5. Oklahoma State
all conference team 1. Willie Warren
2. James Anderson
3. Sherron Collins-Player of the Year
4.Cole Aldrich
5. Craig Brackins
These are probably the only teams from the big 12 that will get into the tourney. Kansas will probably be a one seed, Texas and Oklahoma will be 2s, maybe 3s and K-State will be a 5-6 seed with Osu being 7-9.0 - Posted on: Fri, 07/31/2009 - 9:05am #193663
cookielogicParticipant1. Kansas…no brainer
2. Texas…no brainer as well
3. Kansas St….playing in the slightly weaker Big 12 North gives them a chance to take third over OU & OSU
4. Oklahoma…will be interesting to see how they overcome Blake’s absence, only one front court guy of note with Gallon
5. Oklahoma St…lots and lots of shooters and weapons, could score a ton of points this year, may finish a spot or two higherPOY–Tough one to call with Warren a frontrunner, Collins or Aldrich maybe get co-POY, or if Iowa St. could win some games Brackins, Anderson as well….I will go with Warren because he will put up the numbers an OU will win enough games to justify it.
