kong47272Participant60 wins for Boston this year? – Under, they are old and will have to pace themselves and deal with injuries so they will lose some games they should have won.
24 ppg for Kobe? Over but not by a whole lot I’d put him at 24.5-25 ppg
5th seed for Wiz? Push, I think they end up as the 5th seed
All-Rookie 1st team for Johnny Flynn? Under, I think he will get overlooked in Minn, plus their is the slim chance Rubio shows up and steals playing time.
25 fg attempted per game for Wade? Over
Finals for Clevland? Under, Magic and Celtics still looking stronger
14 ppg for Shaq? Over
1 win for Shaq on his challenge show? Under
30 ppg for K.D.? Under

xbadgerhustlerParticipantI don’t see any reason why Durant won’t average 30 ppg… he raised it 5 ppg from 20 to 25 this season, why couldn’t he raise it to 30 next season? I’d predict he shoots over 50% next year

llperez60 wins in Boston-Yes
24 ppg for Kobe-yes
5th seed for Wiz or better-yes, they are loaded on offense and can compete with anyone
all rookie 1st team for Flynn-yes, but not real confident on this.
25 fg attempts per game for Wade-no, just a few less
Finals for Cleveland-No, both Boston and Orlando are better
14 ppg for Shaq-over, but not by much. He will play as inspired as ever knowing this could be it for him. Cleveland will be a better fit because they are defensive minded half court team. The Suns were not a great fit for him.
1 win for Shaq on his challenge show-no idea what you are talking about
30 ppg for Durant-no, just under.

RickyRubio9Participant60 wins for Boston this year? Under! (East has really stocked up)
24 ppg for Kobe? Over (Of course, but it may not happen if Odom is resigned)
5th seed for Wiz? Push (Right on the money)
All-Rookie 1st team for Johnny Flynn? Under
25 fg attempted per game for Wade? Under (Depending on Odom or a Boozer trade, also Beasley should get more shots)
Finals for Clevland? Push (Possible)
14 ppg for Shaq? Push
1 win for Shaq on his challenge show? Um…?
30 ppg for K.D.? Under (They just added James Harden and they won’t need that much from him)0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/28/2009 - 6:53pm #192249

ricks17Participantso hustler in 5 years time when durant is in his prime, he’ll be averaging 50ppg based on your calculations.
im jokin now, but your sayin you dont see why he shouldnt average 5 more ppg. to do that he’d have to take 4 or 5 more shot attempts a game, and i doubt that happens with Thunder becoming more of a complete game, i say he averages around 27.5

xbadgerhustlerParticipantyea, i know you can’t just extrapolate numbers into the future like that…. but I don’t think it’s much of a stretch to see him take another 5 point bump next season. He still has SO much more potential in his game… the kid is like what, 21? and like I said, it wouldn’t surprise me to see him shoot over 50% and it also wouldn’t surprise me to see him get to the line more next year….. and what if he improves on that 3pt shooting EVEN MORE?! ah! even at 42% he should be taking 5/6 3’s a game. I, for one, don’t think that adding james harden will take away a whole lot of shots from Durant… Harden is an EXTREMELY unselfish player who’d rather create for his teammates than score himself… making KD’s job even easier. i stand by my ‘over’

xbadgerhustlerParticipanti have also been infatuated with KD since I saw him for the first time at the mcdonalds all american game so….. take my words for what they are worth! i may be a little biased.
i still can’t believe that my two favorite college players 2 years in a row got picked by the same team… i worship sam presti

ricks17Participantnice rebuttal, im in love with this kid too. im from vancouver so i use to watch a lot of supersonics games, since they moved im a thunder fan. I think in a couple seasons he’ll be a 30 ppg scorer and mulitple scoring champ, i just dont think it’ll be this year, but i hope im wrong
