knicksfreakParticipanthow would they compare to Pippen and Jordan? What other duo’s could be mentioned? My top 5 duos are;
1. Jordan/Pippen
2. Lebron/Wade
3. Kobe/Shaq
4. Kareem/O
5. Wilt/West
Duncan/Robinson?Haha oh and Clippers, where does Gordon/Griffin rank on this list?

knicksfreakParticipantThey slipped my mind but this list is pretty strong. Where do you think they fit in?

MagikKnickParticipantI honestly think LeBron/Wade would be the best duo ever, you can surround them by high school kids and they’ll still make the playoffs consistently
But since it hasnt happened(olympics dont count), we may never know…
unless ofcourse they give each other phone calls next summer 🙂0- Posted on: Sat, 07/25/2009 - 9:49am #190082
illinimanmarkParticipantOnce Wade leads Prince James to a title or two together, maybe they could be mentioned as a top duo.

knicksfreakParticipantNY or Miami but I’m not holding my breath. My optimism definitely increased after I heard about how much Wade and Lebron talked about uniting in NY during the Olympics.

BasketballGuru24ParticipantWe know Both these players need the ball in their hand at all times…..both like bringing the ball up, both want to be the best, both have cases of being the best…..they haven’t even played a game and your comparing them to great duos and put them second…..i will put them top 15 for now since they never played toghter and gordon/griffin they probably top 100, i there even is top 100
Jordan/pippen
kobe/shq
duncan/robinson
kareem/ oscar
wilt/west
cousy/russell
magic/kareem

knicksfreakParticipantThe Gordon/Griffin thing was an inside joke. I just thought about what duos would win with equal role players. Thats how I ranked them.

jojososaParticipantMagic/kareem
Bird/mchale0 - Posted on: Sat, 07/25/2009 - 9:15am #190057

knicksfreakParticipantI considered Kareem and Magic but I didnt want any repeats. Bird and McHale couldnt have hung with these duos.

McWinningParticipanti also think Wade/Beasley could be a good duo in a couple years.

BasketballGuru24ParticipantMcHale Is extremely underrated
0 - Posted on: Sat, 07/25/2009 - 9:18am #190060

knicksfreakParticipantMcHale was great but almost everybody on my list can make a case for top 10 ever. He isnt that elite. No way he could guard Wade or Lebron.

Knicksboy34ParticipantI dont see Lebron going to Miami or Wade going to Cleveland

maravich44ParticipantBird never played with Havlacek

Adi JosephBy the time Kareem and Oscar were united, Robertson was on the downswing. Kareem and Magic was undeniably a better combination.
The same can be said for West and Baylor over Wilt and West.

HaleParticipantThey would be high up on nthe list, but honestly, what are the odds of this happening? 0.01%? No way LeBron goes to Miami, or they both go to New York. Not Happening.

Knicksboy34ParticipantThats what im saying.
I dont see Wade going to Cleveland either
0 - Posted on: Sat, 07/25/2009 - 11:19am #190120

HaleParticipantYeah, I didn’t even write that scenario down because their is no way that is happening.

ballaj334Participantwith the salary cap lowering it is impossible to pay two people max contracts and these two are top three players in the nba both would demand max contracts and it wouldnt be possible for them to play together…. with that being said
1.pippen/jordan- 6 championships need i say more
2a Russel/ Cousy- 5 titles 6 finals in 7 years together…
2b..magic/ kareem -5chamionships
3. kobe/shaq – 3 chamionships
4.drexler/ Olajijuan- 2 championships
5. stockton/malone- no titles so i put them 5th… still amazingi dont believe lebron and wade could break into that much higher than 4 if they ever played together
