marcusfizer21ParticipantLet’s talk BUST for a bit… I know this guy is NEVER gonna live up to the hype he was getting when he got drafted 5th overall in 2002 but do you think he got a shot at an NBA roster this season? Allan Houston was interviewed during a Summer League game and being an Assistant to Donnie… “Skita” is one of the players they are really looking at because of his shooting touch…not because of his rebounding… and I had that certain idea where he could fit in to D’Antoni’s system… what do you think?
PS:
I actually had a fantasy season created in NBA 2k7 and I took control of the Nets with Kidd, Carter and Jefferson still intact.. I traded for Haywood and got rid of horrible players like Krstic and Robinson… I needed a scorer who can be a mismatch and once I got to free agents available, I noticed Tskitishvilli and signed him to a one year deal… He was pretty much effective in my NBA world…so, I see a lot of potential from this kid but I don’t think he will ever be the guy like Dirk… But I think he can contribute well because he can also play (a little bit)0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/23/2009 - 7:17pm #189133

MagikKnickParticipantThe problem with bust, is people always hold them up to a standard, look how long Kwame Brown has been in the league, and everytime I watch the Pistons play, if Kwame Brown is on the court…Him being in a bust, always gets mentioned.
Skita has talent, and a great shot for a big man..he’ll get the garbage boards, and occasionally the hustle points, he deserves to be in the league..
But not with the Knicks, Darko & Skita on the same team is a bad joke waiting to happen..

Basketballfuture22ParticipantI saw a couple Summer league games he was shooting 3s. I think he is a end of the bench guy at best

Meditated StatesParticipantWould be to stretch it in certain situations.

sheltwon3ParticipantI think he could work himself off the bench for the Knicks with his Height and shooting ability. He could get his shot off against most people but I don’t think he can create his own shot just yet but Knicks are looking for some good floor generals. Also with his skill if he shot in volume he could make at least 40 percent or more of 3’s.

crazyknicksfanParticipanti think he’s too slow for the knicks system cuz he’s used to playing in europes slow paced system

JNixonParticipantHe was playing summer league, just shooting 3’s (he is ALLERGIC to the paint on offense) and he was actually rebounding is area decent on D. He still isnt a defender and he isnt quick or athletic. He isnt NBA material, dont waste a roster spot Knicks

simos15Participantthis is why the knicks are a joke, why not sign demetruis nichols, hes younger and a better shooter.
Well they did sign Curry, jerome james, jefferies etc. it all makes sense now

JNixonParticipantNichols has a ridiculous jumper, are his rights with NYK?

D HampParticipantMarcusfizer21 could be on to something. My Denver Nuggets drafted him. And while your right, he won’t ever live up to those draft expectations (didnt’ this Website peg him as a Dirk Niwitozti comparision) he could be the 10th man on the Knicks bench. My problem is that he sparingly played with the Knicks a couple of seasons ago, he hasn’t gotten much better sense. But because the coach is D’Antoni, he has compassion for him.
Dhamp…the greatest mind in basketball. Next to Hubie Brown anyway.

Basketballfuture22ParticipantIf I was the Knicks I’m going after
-James Singleton
-Ramon Sessions
-Von WaferWhat do you think D-Hamp?

simos15Participantwafer is legit can score from anywhere and get to the rim

sheltwon3ParticipantThose would not be bad pick ups but I see the Mavs keeping Singleton though. They have not signed a lot of their player yet to be open for another big deal. Boozer has to go somewhere.

Basketballfuture22ParticipantI dunno, Dallas added Nathan Jawal and Kris Humpries and are gonna resign Hollins.
I think the Knicks should try to sign all 3.
Singleton- 1 yr- 2mil
Wafer- 3yrs- 12 mil
Sessions- 4yrs- 26 mil0 - Posted on: Fri, 07/24/2009 - 7:57am #189321

Da1potParticipantYeah Maybe the Knicks should go after Michael Olowonkandi next and bring Stromile Swift, too. Then sign Chris Mihm to strengthen their frontcourt even more….. Yeah right! This is why the Knicks are a joke Going after Darko and Nikoloz when your main offseason priority should be resigning your one bright spot- David Lee and your seat filler, Nate Robinson. Even signing Sessions would be a great move. He is so much better than Duhon and would likely come much cheaper than other point guards of his skill level. I hope the Knicks know what they are doing because if Lebron won’t sign with them next year, they are pretty much screwed because it seems like they have been anticipating he will sign with them. AT this point it just will not happen.
