R-Dot-13ParticipantHe was drafted very late in the second round by the Boston Celtics.
He was a great scorer in college, and also a good rebounder for his size.
Do you think he will make the roster to start the season?0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/23/2009 - 6:53pm #189096
bakimmhell no

HaleParticipantHell yes.

R-Dot-13ParticipantDo you think he would be a backup to Rondo? Or the 3rd pg?
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/23/2009 - 6:58pm #189106

HaleParticipantI think he could work his way to the backup pg. He is a really complete player.

R-Dot-13ParticipantI agree with that, do you think he has any chance to eventually become a starter in the league on any team?
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/23/2009 - 7:01pm #189117

HaleParticipantYes, again. He is a natural scorer and has really underrated pg skills. He is a great rebounder and is incredible at getting steals. He could be like Rodney Stuckey (more scoring focused) for a team.

R-Dot-13Participanti agree with what your saying, its nice to see someone else believes this guy can be pretty good .

HaleParticipantHe should have gone late first round honestly. Other then his age and combo guard questions nothing is weak for him.

Bison 49Participantthe only problem is that he was drafted by Boston. They have a whole bunch of talented guys on the bench. He has the ability to move up the depth chart, but will have some good battles. I hope good things happen to Bill Walker, and we get to see some horrific dunks from him.

R-Dot-13ParticipantYeah I agree that because he was drafted to boston may hurt him, but for now I do think he will be a good backup for Rondo, and then maybe eventually start for a team.
And I believe his age is the major reason he dropped so low.

sheltwon3ParticipantHe is on the wrong teams to get minutes but maybe he could get some valuable practice time and also looks like Boston is setting themselve up to not pay Ray Allen after this year. This will be interesting because only a few bad teams need a starting 2. Most of the good team will have this position filled by next year. Bobcats may have the money and a opening.

cookielogicParticipantI think he can make it but it may take a couple of stints in the D-League…dude had a quadruple double his junior year and I don’t care who your competition is, you rack up those kind of numbers in a 40 minute game you are a player.

JNixonParticipantHe should be given a chance to make the roster for this year. Hopefully he shows enough to stick around longer, I like him. He is a great scorer and he is good at everything else, but he should work on his PG skills before he becomes anything other than a backup player.
