CHOOSE WHICH SUPERSTAR YOU WANT
1. Scoring PG. Age 26. 6’4 with a great dribble speed. Not great defense but great pull up. Not a setup shooter. Has some off court issues. Plays either guard spot. Avg 28ppg 6apg 1spg.
2. Crazy Athlete Wing. Age 25. 6’9. Average shot but is strong and fast with the ball. Good D. Can be considered cocky and out of control sometimes. Avg 24ppg 4apg 8rpg
3. Finesse Big. Age 27. 7’0. Plays either big. Extremely skilled but not strong on defense. Great at passing and up to 20ft shot. Smart as hell. Avg 25 ppg 5apg 10rpg 2bpg.
NOW CHOOSE YOUR ROLE PLAYER
1. Beast Big. Age 24. 6’9. Best defensive player in the league despite being undersized. Has a 10 ft jumper but limited in the post. Plays forward spots. Avg 12ppg 10rpg 4bpg.
2. Crafty PG. Age 25. 6’2. Small and fast. Pickpocketer on D. Very creative and looks to pass. Smart on the break. Fast paced. Avg 14 ppg 9apg 2spg
3. Versatile Wing. Age 23 6’8. Hardest worker on team. Great teammate Plays D. Very smart. Could developLoves to run the break. Slasher and gets layups. Avg 10ppg 5rpg 4apg 2sp 1bpg

The Finess Big, in the right system could score with the best, gets tons of rebs (when clean, see selection of Griffin). Judging by the stats we were given, he is pretty good as a help defender, and like Bargniani could develop into a stronger 1 on1 defender.
The Crafty PG, these guys run the team. Look at almost any team with this type of pg (appears to be a less athletically gifted Nash or Paul judging by the stats), and they do very well with the right pieces in place. Again, think of the assist opportunities with a finess Big and Griffin in the lineup
Griffin BEAST, he perfectly compliments the finess Big already on the team, and makes up for his potential physical deficiencies. Plus anyone who has seen his highlights can imagine what he could do with the well placed lob passes from the crafty PG.
Another important thing to remember is that with these cornerstones in place, filling in the remaining perimeter pieces would be much easier, as the front line could easily account for 50 pts per game, add in 15 from the pg position, and you could have average wing players (10ppg per player), and still score 85 with the starting 5 alone. This would allow the GM (me) to focus on tough defenders for these positions. Add in the fact that the post players could develop some post D and you have a strong team.
Finally, other teams’ bigs would be in constant foul trouble trying to guard the Finess PF and Griffin, so they would log heavy minutes against reserves.
