    think Tyreke Evans has potential to be the next AI?
    i mean think about it
    in Hs
    he avg 37 a game….
    AS A PG!
    imean he will be great but its just scary because he can be a bigger and stronger AI.

    Jrue Holiday was ranked higher coming out of HS than Evans

    no doubt Evans is a talented scorer, but just because a point guard puts up huge ppg numbers in high school, doesn’t mean he is the next AI, give me some more reasons why he is the next AI and i’ll give it a look, but 37 ppg in high school??? common, thats not a comparison

    I like Reke a lot but he won’t be as good as Iverson. He plays the same kind of style, score first pg with lots of turnovers and steals, but he won’t be up to AI’s level. I think he will put up numbers similar to Joe Johnson for his career. At least as far as ppg, rpg and apg go.

    I like the Johnson comparison, i think he kind of reminds me a big of Jerry Stackhouse too, Stackhouse could put up big numbers despite a lack of an outside shot early in his career, was about 6’5” and although he was touted as one of the many “next Jordan’s” he was kind of a tweener who played both guard positions early in his career

    I think Reke is an upgrade over Stackhouse slightly. Maybe Jerry Stackhouse 1.5 or 2.0.

      reke is not an upgrade of stackhouse if were talkin his prime, stackhouse used to be a beast but i think reke can be better than him now and probably overall in the long run career wise

    but i mean iverson ego.
    like you understand?
    like he will be disliked later on in his career like iverson is.
    jus think about it.
    his shot selection is off.
    he has alot of turnovers.
    he will be good.
    but jus like iverson was forced to play pg
    evans is and thats not good.

    i dont want my pg turning it over that much

    oh..
    and as a point guard.
    he toook 505 shots.
    the most on his team.

    iverson is a terrible comparison to begin with. I like the johnson comparison. i think he’s kinda a ron artest joe johnson hybrid minus the shot (for now). Like artest he has potential to be a lockdown defender and a physical player with a strong body. questionable shot selection: check. good defender: check. very stron body: check. with johnson they can both drive the lane well and draw fouls. Slashing: check. draws fouls: check. good ball handler: check(evans is better with the ball than johnson already) also he just looks like artest, haha.

    What do you mean you think Reke will be disliked like A.I. due to ego and personality? Here in Memphis people love him for the good person that he is. After Cal bolted and left the U of M stranded Reke stayed to help recruit prospective Freshman, encourage them to come here, and let them know it wasn’t just Cal that made him. I’d really like to know why you’re so down on him…

    not overall skills they are both shoot happys point guards forced to play that position.
    evans has bad shot selection and all that im just making an observation .
    if im wrong im wrong but i dont think iam

    Tyreke is a good young man he has no EGO , anyways Iverson is a Legend he was unstoppable on O theyre not comparable. i think Tyreke plays like Bayless
