Michael.S.ParticipantIMO Sac wouldnt take Favors over Wall , they desperately need a PG, becuase Tyreke is a natural Sg and at PF they have Hawes(natural pf) and Thompson
0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/22/2009 - 2:30pm #187934
Michael.S.Participantand Henson at 9 alot
0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/22/2009 - 2:39pm #187937

ChosenOneParticipanti agree with mike Sacremento is definitely taking wall over Derrick Favors because they have Jason Thompson and Spencer Hawes there already. An I don’t believe Tyreke Evans is a true PG. So with the selection of John Wall that will allow Tyreke to focus on scoring more which he is a beast at rather than creating opportunities for his teammates which John Wall appears great at.

Basketballfuture22ParticipantI think the Kings would go Favors over Wall.
Tyreke Evans was drafted to play PG. They would not give up on him after 1 year. Favors IMO may have to play a combo forward in the NBA. I think if he shows better ball-handling, he may play SF in the NBA

Michael.S.Participantthis line-up is a mess
Evans
Martin
Favors
Thompson
Hawes0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/22/2009 - 2:46pm #187945
Basketballfuture22ParticipantNot really. Evans is better at PG. You have Martin at the 2. All the people I know at GT are telling me Favors is practicing his perimeter skills. Favors is most likely a SF in the NBA. Thompson and Hawes are good. With Greene and Nocioni off the bench
0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/22/2009 - 2:48pm #187950

ChosenOneParticipantYeah Favors may be able to play a little 3 but the way I see it is that I know Tyreke was drafted to be the point guard but I don’t see it happening.Plus Tyreke Evans can play 2. An after all this hype John Wall is receiving from all the media, web sites, and youtube nerds I just don’t see it happening. I think if John Wall and Kentucky definitely make it to the final four in which I predict that will boost his stock. QGotham15 I will give you one thing they both have unlimited potential to be franchise players. I really feel the upcoming season though will make John Wall the one though. An a can’t miss player. (Not a fan of him though)

Basketballfuture22ParticipantI like Wall. But I saw Wall got killed by Jennings who got killed by Rose. I think Defense may be somewhat of a issue for Wall with some PG close or taller then him
I think Wall will be good at KU, but I dont see them being a Final Four team. I think more Elite Eight.
IM SAYING IT NOW, WATCH OUT FOR TERRICO WHITE (6-5 PG/SG, Mississippi)

ChosenOneParticipantYou know what your a cool dude. Man I been telling everybody not on this site but in my town that Brandon Jennings has killed Wall multiple times in more than one game. An you didn’t here Walls name Jennings senior year. Yeah maybe I took Kentucky too far if anything stops them it will be there inexperience or chemistry with all that star talent on one team. We will see whose right next year.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/22/2009 - 3:02pm #187974
Basketballfuture22ParticipantI know. I like Wall alot. But on this site, I seen people say he the best player not to play in the NBA. Come on. I think Wall is good now but everyone loves his speed and I think Kentucky will be overrated from Day 1 and will fall.
Jennings is a beast. I think Wall will struggle a bit with big PG’s

ChosenOneParticipantI am not fixing to sit here and lie you keeping it real. John Wall has a bandwagon full of groupies from California to New York. John Wall is just pure athleticism I want deny that but he has proved his self against top competition like Jennings has. I know you remember when Jennings was in high school he played the best of the best. An Wall is playing people half his size and not in his class when it comes to skill. Jennings is one of my favorite players along with OJ Mayo,Kobe, and Kevin Durant.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/22/2009 - 3:25pm #187982
Basketballfuture22ParticipantYea man, Once a good amount of people like a player, Everyone loves the guy. I think Jennings will be good. Wall needs to prove to me he is a #1 pick. I’m not ready to give it to him yet. I wanna see how he does against some talent close to his level.

ball4life66ParticipantDon’t think Favors will ever be a 3. Remember when Dwight Howard was selected #1 experts were saying that he could play the 3 in the NBA….that didn’t work out well. Favors will be a 4 in the NBA. Also Lawal will not be in this draft if he might slip into the second round.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/22/2009 - 4:39pm #188073
Basketballfuture22ParticipantDwight Howard was selected #1 experts were saying that he could play the 3 in the NBA- I dont remember that…a 7-0 SF? come on
Favors is 6-9 and many people I know ( College & NBA) are saying he looks like a SF right now and they want him to develop a perimeter game.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/22/2009 - 4:41pm #188074
FutureoftheGameHaha. I didnt know that about Howard. How scary would it be if he could play the 3. How would you like to see Durant or someone like that try to guard him. He is so so big. He is like a comic book superhero.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/22/2009 - 4:44pm #188079
Michael.S.Participantif he EVER becomes a SF i see him as a Carmelo Type , but favors is alot more athletic, but Melo has good handle for 6-8 and a beautiful mid-range he is unstoppable
0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/22/2009 - 4:46pm #188082
Basketballfuture22ParticipantIm telling you now, alot of ppl are looking at him to be a SF.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/22/2009 - 4:53pm #188090
ball4life66ParticipantHoward was 6’10 with shoes coming out of high school and yes their was talk about him playing SF. http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news?slug=2154574cap&prov=st&type=lgns
Favors will be an elite PF….he’s similar to Garnett…can take you inside-outside. Really doubt he plays SF in the NBA. JMO0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/22/2009 - 4:57pm #188094
Basketballfuture22Participantit says 3 spot once….im thinking noone believe he was gonna play SF. Favors is more 6-9 then 6-10, im telling you, SF
0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/22/2009 - 5:09pm #188113
ball4life66ParticipantFavors is 6’10 234^ Have you seen Favors play? I’ve seen him a lot and he’s to good under the basketball to play the 3.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/22/2009 - 5:22pm #188138
Basketballfuture22ParticipantI seen him play and he’s 6-9. Trust me, he can play SF. He is good and he can play SF, He is very good under the basket but alot of people say he may have to switch to SF.
0- Posted on: Wed, 07/22/2009 - 6:04pm #188195
ball4life66ParticipantI still doubt he’ll ever play the 3 but we’ll see. He’s 6’10 now though and probably still growing because he just turned 18. http://ramblinwreck.cstv.com/sports/m-baskbl/mtt/favors_derrick00.html
I actually think he can play SF too if he works on his ball handling I just think he will be one of the best PF’s in the game…so no reason to switch him to play SF….not sure why’d he HAVE to switch either.

Michael.S.Participanti think i would be GREAT for him if he can develop the perimeter skills to be a 3, because he can already play the 4. but i dont think hemight HAVE TO play the 3. he already has stupid potential and adding an outside game would make him even more unstoppable
0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/22/2009 - 6:09pm #188202
Basketballfuture22ParticipantThey lie on those things ya know?
I actually think he can play SF too if he works on his ball handling I just think he will be one of the best PF’s in the game.
I disagree. He must work on his outside post moves
0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/22/2009 - 6:12pm #188206
ball4life66ParticipantHe looks a legit 6’10 to me too. I know he has to work on some things but who doesn’t coming out of high school? He has all the tools to dominate in the NBA.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/22/2009 - 6:15pm #188211
Basketballfuture22Participantim gonna wait till he plays in the NBA before saying that.
IMO, he should learn and develop some outside post game. Remember when Rose was 6-3? Beasley was 6-9? I’m gonna wait and see. I saw him play not to long ago and at a GT practice and he looked 6-9 next to Gani Lawal.

Basketballfuture22Participantnot bad but Walker at 11?
0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/22/2009 - 6:33pm #188228
Michael.S.Participantyep! he will have a Monster sophmore season and he can play along Harris who the Nets should move to the 2
0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/22/2009 - 6:36pm #188232
Basketballfuture22ParticipantI dunno. I think Harris is ok as a PG. I heard that the Nets were shopping him during the draft so you maybe on to something with that pick
0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/22/2009 - 6:40pm #188234
Michael.S.Participantthey should shop him, and add a few valueable assets
0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/22/2009 - 7:28pm #188293
omark422ParticipantFinally someone has enough brains to see that the Rockets would probably draft a 7’0 center. That’s been one of our main needs for a while now… Good stuff!
