Whether in the French championship or in Eurocup, Doumbouya still has long ways to go to be considered a surefire top five prospect. What are your thoughts about him and where do you see him get drafted?

I asked same question in another thread, and right now I don’t think he is.
    His performance is bad tbh.
On the other hand, he is just 17, if he was 9 days younger he wasn’t going to be eligible for this year draft and he also has the physical tools.
If he ended season on a high note, he will be top 10 pick

On the other hand, I really like Goga Bitadze a lot, think he should be in middle of 1st round

I think he is a Top 10 guy.  He reminds me of OG Anunoby.

Looks very raw so far but does show flashes of that top 5 pick worthy potential

I can see him being an average starter in the mold of Luol Deng and Al-Farouq Aminu

I’d take him in that 10-15 range at the moment until he proves himself as more than a project this season

Deng was a two time all star, 20ppg scorer and all defensive player – if you see a guy that is potentially that player and he’s available 10-15 picks in then you have to take him. Even if he’s going to be Aminu, it’s worth it. But if not, he should tumble down the boards cos probably only one third of the draft each year at best stick around the league to make a meaningful contribution.

I think he’s on the verge of putting it all together. He needs the right coaching and playing time, today. Euro teams often bench if you don’t fit their style of play… even if you’re the most talented guy in the team. I think Porzingas really put it all together after his season ended in Europe. He looked decent through the season and took it up 5 levels for his NBA workout. Maybe this kid does that.

He’s not #3 based on his play today. He’s #3 based how he’ll be by this time next year.
