They are going to regret giving love that contract extension. He is clearly on the decline and not the type of player you can build a winner around.

Gotta hand it to the Cavs. Over the past decade and a half or so when they’ve been good they’ve been championship caliber good, and when they’ve been bad they’ve been top of the lottery bad. That’s really the way to be. Although I don’t think that is really their intent this year.

I’d be extremely annoyed as a Knicks fan if they win the lottery over us this year after they had many years of championship runs with Lebron, and won 4 lotteries already in the past 15 years.

Cavs are the worst franchise in basketball. If one of the 5 best players all time  and best player in the league right now wasn’t born and grow up in Ohio this would be the Cavs every single year the last decade.

The cavs did the smart thing Re-upped love so at least they have 1 asset left…They have a lot of meh deals on the squad Larry nance,Tristan,J.R and the list goes on.

But worst case scenario you trade Love at the trade deadline and you have shown you reward loyalty with a good pay day. Which may help change a little of the name around the league post lebron first leaving debacle…

The only thing is though I do kind of hope they don’t win the lottery for at least 2-3 years though as 4 number 1 overalls is a bit of a joke especially with 2 being back to back..

Worst case scenario bro ? Really ? That would be the best case scenario if any team would take Love’s dumpster contract.

It’s amazing that LeBron got this dumpster fire to the finals.

The roster is just horrible. K Love is a good third option on a contender. Other than that it’s a bunch of C+ players, if that. The only other possible bright spot is Sexton, but he’s going to take time and needs a consistent shot. Probably has a ceiling of Kemba and floor of any G leaguer that scores 25 a night. (Josh Selby?)

The Cavs need to suck the next 3-5 years and hit on a couple top 5 picks and go from there.

and to think I actually believed the wouldn’t have a shot at one of the Duke freshman this coming draft. Also does anyone know what happens to the 1st rounder they traded to ATL? Would the hawks get the Cavs 2020 pick unprotected?

Lmao. The first time I read that I thought you wrote KLove was softer than colon tissue, not cotton tissue. I really need new glasses.
