ChrispyParticipantThis game is everything!! Embiid skills and mindgames (and flops), Griffin with 50, Drummond bullcrap, overtime, Reddick commiting an amateur-hour foul and then redeeming himself with a 4 pont play to go up by two, and then a beautifully designed fake dribble hand-off into a Griffin drive for a GW 3 pt play! WOW! If you didn’t watch, check out the game highlight NOW!!

r377ParticipantYes great game, was on the edge of my seat – didn’t think we would win.
Reggie playing heroball again misses two shots then fouls a 3 point shot. Blake was on fire with 50 and reggie still shoots and hits the side of the backboard.
Blake was so good inside and out. taking inside on embiid. Great passing and his ball handling is superb for someone his size

high floorParticipanton display this match. He was outstanding. I remember hearing an interview he gave on CJ’s McCollum’s podcast a few weeks ago….. saying this was the first season he’s entered completely healthy in like 6 years. He’s showing that’s true, and he’s led his team to a nice 3-0 start.
Also, that last free throw to ice the game on his and-1 was even more impressive when you consider he missed his first SIX free throws to start the contest. Just a great game.

EndlessknightParticipantMissed the game. How did Fultz look as the starting PG?

r377Participanti saw second half and OT, didn’t even see fultz

EndlessknightParticipantInteresting. From the box score I see he went 6 for 9 from the floor, including 1 for 2 from 3 and was a +2.
So he in no way had a bad game. Guess Brown still doesn’t trust him late in the game.

ChrispyParticipantTJ played all the crunch minutes and played decently, although he gets abused in transition defense because of his size and athleticism. But, he runs the offense and makes the right reads and other guys trust him. In a few more months Fultz will get these opportunities.

ZouldiersParticipantMy goodness, Blake Griffin capped off that game with a game winning free throw.wow, that is game right there. He is also the first one to score 50 this season also.

BrentSuriaga01ParticipantIf you’re a Sixers fan, you can’t ask for more, it’s a hell of a game. In the end, somebody has to win.

RUDEBOY-ParticipantWhen the Pistons Fired Van Gundy, they should’ve made him Take Stanley Johnson,Luke Kennard & Henry Ellenson with him!!

ChoppyParticipantKennard is gonna be ok. Kyle Korver lite. Agree on the other two…

EndlessknightParticipantReally not concerned about the L. No Simmons, no Chandler, no Smith and the Pistons still needed OT to win at home by one point.

SubZeroParticipantCan’t belueve I turned this game off in the 3rd for the Pels game smh
Super happy for Blake having the game of his career. Would’ve been a tragedy for Philly to win after that bush league stuff Embiid pulled

MkadozaParticipantBlake has been on FIRE to start the season. He’s legit playing like a three. He’s made 11 threes in his first 3 games, at 61%!! Of course this isnt sustainable, but he’s seems determined to leave his perceived lack of dominace behind. Dude is putting up 35 11 and 6 per right now

weballin.netParticipanthave that kind of start but respect to him for coming back healthier than ever and a much better shooter. He now just has to work on his FT and will definitely bring that breathe Detroit needs.

halfdecayedParticipantSo nobody’s gonna talk about that bullshit ejection that Drummond got on that Embiid flop ?! Drummond didn’t even argue and no1 asked for a review, that was horrible. Pistons deserved to win this 1.. Although put Simmons and Chandler in this game and this might be a 2 digit win for the Sixers. Fultz looks better and better although defensively he hasn’t impressed me considering his athletism.

Sharp ShooterParticipantOn another note, anyone who watched the game notice the improvement in Drummonds low post game. I mean wow. Drummond did manage to shake Embiifd a few times with nifty footwork, and more importantly he learned how to thrown his body on him to get a call. Drummond is improving…alot. Kudos to him

BeastMode716Participantb/c Simmons did not play don’t kid yourself that was one of the worst coacjed games I’ve ever seen
Embiid is a Monster & he looks more athletic than even b/c he was healthy all summer, JJ Reddick was incredible
But those 2 kept you in the game b/c it was like a carbon copy of the playoffs where Brad Stevens just schooled Brett Brown. Casey just destroyed Brown last night – awful coming out of Time Outs at Both ends —- Not even once did Phila double team BG or try to deny him the ball
It was astonishing. But once again in a close game the Sixers were just destroyed by the Pistons on set plays after time outs
Brown is a really likeable guy but you grow that beard all you want Brown is no where even in the same universe as Popovich
