valentineI hope I don’t get negged for this, but do you think he has Asperger’s (high-functioning autism)? I ask this as someone who has it.

BallerScriptParticipantFrom what I’ve seen, I don’t think he does but I can see how some might think so.

ph90702He’s extremely analytical and detail oriented. He can connect with players, but he doesn’t have the used car salesman personality of John Calipari. If he’s not autistic, he certainly has some of the features.

r377ParticipantThis generation is so soft and politically correct, you cannot mention someone sexuality, race or disability without copping negs.
I dont know if he does have autism but lots of successful people do. Skateboard legend rodney mullen has it.

HitsterParticipantAlbert Einstein would have been classed that way if he’d lived in modern times. He may have some traits but how he interacts with his players, I don’t see the preferring to be alone traits which the autistic spectrum people show.
Coaches all have different personalities, a lot can depend on background and age. Someone like Brad is much nearer in age to his players than say a Gregg Poppovich is but as he didn’t play in the NBA he has come up the coaching ladder so it’s not like say a Jason Kidd who moved from playing to coaching within a couple of years.
The player/coach/Front office dynamic is always key and at a place like Boston I’d figure it is good as they all respect each other and their relevant abilities.

HobbyOGParticipantNo..people with Asperger typically have trouble with social skills, interacting with people, looking them in the eye and 100 other obstacles with dealing people and the media. It’s not one of the "highly functional" autism forms on the spectrum. He could have Autism but it’s not Asperger.

treytalkssports.comParticipantThis. Brad Stevens is well-liked and charismatic, albeit not in the usual center-of-attention way.
