BallerScriptParticipantWe all know that Bol Bol is a bit of a polarizing player that has been floating around the top 5 to top 15 in most mock drafts.
I was on instagram and saw slam posted a mini highlight reel captioned with "how many points will Bol Bol average"
I went through all the comments left by fans and found the averages that these fans are expecting from Bol Bol
14.6 PPG, 9.8 RPG and 3.5 BPG
Are you guys higher or lower on this?
Through out some stat predictions

The GoatParticipantI’m more interested on over/under vs his Dad’s single game records for:
3PFG Made/game – 6
Blocks in a game -15
No way he does either IMHO

HobbyOGParticipantI’m lower..
12pts
6-7 rebounds
3.3 blks
He wasn’t a good rebounder in HS. He average like 8.8.

OhCanada-ParticipantThis seems about right. Its hard to guess how his rebounding will translate, he couldve had no motivation to rebound well at Mater Dei. I personally think is a top 5 pick as of right now.

Dazzling Dunks and Basketball BloopersParticipantI’d probably be inclined to take the under on all of those numbers. Just from what I’ve seen from him so far (which I admit is probably not enough to give an accurate scouting report) he is pretty raw right now. He isn’t strong enough and doesn’t fight hard enough to get low post position, doesn’t have a ton of post moves, and his low release point makes it much easier to contest his shots than it should be for a player his size. He has some floor stretching ability, but he only shot the three on a low volume and percentage at the HS level. He appears to be somewhat slow to react, and wasn’t a particularly strong rebounder or shot blocker at the HS level, which kind of makes me doubt he will be initially in college.
I still think bol has a ton of long-term potential, but i also see him as a project and someone who could initially struggle with the speed and physicality of high level d1 basketball. If I had to project his freshman stats I’d probably predict about 11 ppg 7 rpg 2 bpg.

BothTeamsPlayedHardParticipantIf I was to come up with a maxing out standard for Bol as a freshman, I would put it at what Chris Boucher did. While Bol is going there as a top prospect, it is difficult for me to believe someone with his frame, at his age, will transition seamlessly to college basketball. Staying healthy, staying on the court without being a foul magnet, and producing 11-12 points, 6-7 rebounds, blocking a few shots, and knocking in better than a third of his threes is already a high bar.

CynthiaParticipantI think the points are possible, given the team he goes to I’d say that’s about right. I think the rebounds will be lower, more around 7-8. I also think the blocks are way too high, I get it he’s a blocking beast but he won’t be playing against kids in the NBA. I’d say 2-2.5 is much more realistic.
