Tatum will likely be starting at PF this year with Hayward back.  He is def. not a SG.  Not bad lists though everyone has their own opinion.

      Love your list!

For me personally I’d have Lillard over Wall and Jokic over KAT, but that’s personal preference for me. Lillard has more of a winners mentality & Jokic has a more all-round game offensively than KAT, both need to work on their defense.

It was very close between those players you mentioned. I went back and forth between them.

I went with Wall over Lillard due to the fact I’ve been keeping up with Wall’s progress this summer. He’s been training with the same biomechanics trainer that Oladipo, Wade, LeBron, etc has. He’s had a comparable summer to Oladipo.

As far as KAT and Jokic, I thought about doing a 3A and 3B, but determined that’d be taking the easy way out lol. You could honestly go either way.

I also really like your list and pretty much copied it for my own list with minor tweaks.

The fact that no one has Chris Paul on their list… staggers me.

Chris Paul came to the Rockets late and instantly made them dominant. So dominant in fact they had the best record in basketball. In the playoffs, they go 3-2 up on the defending champs. Then Paul goes out, and Houston has no chance, even with home court.

He switched his game to be a off ball playmaker with Harden on the court, and returned to being a ball dominant savant without Harden. Theres one definite, maybe three total point guards in the league who can do that. (Who do you think the three are? Here’s a hint, I’m not talking about Lebron, although hes capable.)

Also the easy looks Chandler, Griffin, Jordan and others got cant be ignored.

Yeah CP3 is still a top 4 pg! I think Simmons is about to become a top 10 player and MVP candidate this year.

PG – Curry, Westbrook, Lillard, Conley

SG – Harden, Mitchell, Thompson, Oladipo

SF – KD, Kawhi, George, Middleton

PF – LeBron, Giannis, Green, Tatum

C – Davis, Embiid, Gasol, Gobert

I wanted to nominate 4 in each spot. Conley, Middleton and Tatum are probably all surprises but I’m expecting big years from all 3.

That Irving hasn’t been mentioned yet is a travesty. He’s the second most explosive scoring point guard to Curry and is at least as good of a defender. I think his assist and efficiency numbers rise this year, and he leads the Celtics to a historic season. If that happens, he will be in the MVP conversation, which would mean that no one on this forum had a top 3 MVP candidate in their top 15 players.

    PG Curry, Irving, Westbrook

    SG Harden, Thompson, Olapido

SF James, Durant, Kawhi if Healthy and PG13 if he’s not

PF this will seem the most controversial

Simmons(I believe he’ll end up starting at Pf much to his displeasure and Fultz’ growth with Drew Hanlan over the summer)

Giannis (I believe this is Giannis’ best position and that he’s just step below Simmons as an overall basketball player)

Al Horford (is and has always been a Pf playing out of position at Times)

C Davis by a hair, Embiid a terrifyingly close 2nd and Jokic a rare triple double threat at the C spot

I’m a huge Ben Simmons fan myself, but in what universe is Giannis "a step below him as an overall basketball player?"
