festar35ParticipantAlthough I don’t expect a lot from the Clippers this year I think next year they could build something special.
I think they got the best PG in the draft in SGA, he has really good two-way upside. They have really nice contract in Bradley who is a starter caliber player and a legit 20ppg+/6th man in Lou Williams locked up at $8mil as well as a great back-up big in Montrezl Harrell. If they get a half-decent season out of Gallo they could trade him or alternatively buy-out/cut & stretch – this will give them lots of $$$ to spend in 2019 off-season. If Leonard wants to be in LA but doesn’t want to be playing with LBJ then Clipers would be 100% in drivers seat for him. They could sign him and bring Tobias Haris back as well, they could go after a young C like Cauley-Stein who if Giles emerges he could be out in Sac-Town.
C. WCS PF. Harris SF. Leonard SG. Bradley PG. SGA Bench:Williams Harrell Robinson .
An MVP candiate in Leonard, you have 3 20ppg+ scorers in Leonard, Harris & Williams. All apart from Harris would be an above average defender in starting line-up, they could really make some noise.

ThenilonatorParticipantTobias Harris strikes me as a guy who will put up impressive numbers but very rarely wins, this is an important year for him in L.A.

kobyzParticipanti don’t agree with you, you describe Harison Barnes, Harris is better and have a more winning mentality!

ThenilonatorParticipantHave you based that on the fact that he has been in the league for 8 years and played 1 playoff matchup…… and lost, against Barnes being the starting small forward on a championship winning squad?

Miko4rm206ParticipantI don’t like the Clippers roster at all. For one half their team is injury prone and can miss half the season at any given time.
With the exception of SGA their Guards are severely undersized.
Harrel is a Kenneth Faried 2.0. Too small to play Center not versatile enough to play the 4. Lou Williams Gets buckets but is at the tail end of his career and a Defensive liability.
Idk why the Kings would just let WCS walk when he is the perfect center to pair with Skal and Bagley for the future.
I would only keep the 2 rookies I drafted this year and Tobias. Maybe keep either Liu or Bradley as a 6th man. Everybody else could be gone for the right price.

Andv1 WaitingParticipantJust my opinion
The Clippers a better off hitting full reset as they aren’t exactly going make any noise even if they add at least two big names to this roster.
If I was them I would see who is keen on Avery bradley and Tobias and get as much as I could in terms of picks and younger players. Going full rebuild.
As being honest I don’t see the Clippers even getting in the room with any big time F.A’s until they at least have 2 big names in there..So why not go full rebuild an have cap room when you can do something.

cohenbc1ParticipantThey have one of those weird rosters with 15 guys good enough to play, but no one who would be a top-2 player on a really good team. That doesn’t usually work out, but like someone said above, they’re the Clippers so half the team will probably be injured at all times.
Actually I just read that Patrick Beverley’s contract is non-guaranteed and with their glut of guards, he seems likely to be released. That’s mainly interesting because if he’s fully recovered from his injury, he could be a huge pickup for someone. Imagine him and Holiday together in New Orleans — that’s maybe the best defensive backcourt in the league. Or maybe he could fill Danny Green’s role in San Antonio.

HitsterParticipantThe Clippers only have $41 million of guaranteed deals for next year and can someone confirm if Gallo’s deal in the last year is guaranteed fully or not?
So even if they likely resign Harris they could have about $40 million in cap space to play with. Lou Williams will always be very tradeable for at least a first rounder to a contender so they can almost hit reset button whenever.

Jr. ROXASParticipantI am very high on Jerome Robinson. He is the definition of a SKILLED shooting guard. Handles are tight, footwork going into his shot off pullups or catch and shoots is on point and his shot is a thing of beauty. Calling him a mini CJ McCollum is not out of the line.

Game760ParticipantI’m high on Robinson as well he’s bigger than CJ and can be Klay light if everything goes well and who better to judge Klay clone than West who was there when Klay was younger on warriors.
